“Food portion on my Tangine Royale was unbelievably small for $20 plus taxes and tips. Four little chunks of beef and three stewed dates. The taste was wonderful, but I was severely disappointed with the amount of food. Even the rice was on a tiny tiny plate“

“Immortal Café is my 3rd space, I go here every weekend of mine to chill. I enjoy their chia pudding and a matcha latte while I read, but I don't go home without some savory scones and cookies for my partner and I. I LOVE when they have metal music playing, and the dark green walls being my favourite colour- it's like they made this place with me in mind. Note: Not all offerings are vegan, but lots are! Look for the V on the menu and make sure to specify milk choice in your drinks. They also offer some gluten-free items for those interested. :)“

“Ive been going to the N st cafe for as long as I can remember. There is a laid back vibe there, and the customer service is always good, especially when they remember your order. They make a good cup of coffee, but mostly, I like their baked goods, like a pastry or toasted bagel with cream cheese. It’s cheap, very filling and tastes good. They also make smoothies, breakfast sandwiches, and stuff for lunch.“

“Druthers is always a great place for coffee and waffles! They are expanding their offerings in a week or so to include more sandwiches and other things that folks enjoy. The owners of this business are an outstanding couple with great knowledge of the culinary business in Sacramento“

“Their latte and pastries are phenomenal. It's very relaxing and homey inside, and the person working there is very kind. The patio is a great space to sit back and do your own thing as well. If you go to any cafe, I'd recommend this one 🙂“

“My Mom & i went to Tandem Coffee last week & the experience was excellent. We had the pleasure of Louis helping us. Delicious coffee for me! We ended up sitting outside for a bit & my Mom decided she wanted a lavender latte which was recommended by a lady/customer sitting inside.
Louis took care of us with respect & care & my Mom enjoyed her drink very much! Thank you Tandem for making our day enjoyable at your establishment.“

“Tried this place while visiting the UCD campus. Great food, my only complaint was a little to much mayo for my liking but the serving size and quality was great. Overall the experience was great. The nice lady at the front makes the business feel warm and welcoming. Please support local businesses like this.“

“My friend and I enjoyed our delicious meal outside, weather was perfect. They were busy , thought there would be a wait. There was not, food was delivered, with a smile in a timely manner. Order was taken with a smile also, employees were very friendly. We had a absolutely delicious wrap, with teriyaki pork and too many other goodies to list. Avocado toast which is the tastiest we have ever had. Strawberry lemonade was incredible. Not overly sweet, or syrupy, great flavor. Nice size. Next time I will try a dessert. I highly recommend this establishment.“

“The best chai that I have ever had, and it's made in house. My favorite morning ritual is to walk down to The Mill and get a chai and a waffle to eat on the walk back home. In a city with an over-abundence of coffee shops, The Mill is easily my favorite and I pine for it when I am out of town.“

“Absolutely love this place Their pastries and sweets are on another level – the kunafa is perfectly crisp and creamy, the baklava is rich, flaky, and melts in your mouth, and every bite is full of authentic Arabic flavor. If you’re craving traditional treats, this is the spot to visit“

“Scorpio in Midtown is definitely a cool spot, but it comes with some trade-offs. I’d tried to go a couple of times before and walked away because of the long line both inside and out. Third time was the charm. We happened to pass by on a Monday, no line, and grabbed the last table outside.
The outdoor seating was honestly the biggest downside. The table looked like it hadn’t been wiped down in a while, and the planter next to us had food scraps and trash in it, which attracted a lot of flies. Sitting there wasn’t the most comfortable experience. Inside, the ordering area feels cramped and chaotic. The line would flow better if it ran in another direction, and given how busy they are, they really need at least two cashiers.
That said, the food and coffee were excellent. We ordered the avocado toast, pumpkin spice latte, mushroom bread, and oatmeal. everything was beautifully presented and delicious. The vibe overall is fun and modern, though the staff isn’t particularly friendly. It has that “we’re popular so we don’t have to try too hard” energy, which some people love for the exclusivity, but it’s not really my thing.
In short: great coffee, great food, cool atmosphere, but crowded, a bit unfriendly, and the outdoor seating area could use more care. I’m still giving this place 5 stars. It might not be my cup of tea, but it’s gonna work for other people.“

“My boyfriend & I ordered 2 breakfast burritos ($5.50) with extra protein ($2 extra, you can mix and match your protein) & one order of tater tots ($4.50, sharable size between 2-3 ppl depending on appetite). Friendly, fast service, good food, & amazing prices. Note: Cafe is located inside a business building. Once you enter the building, it's the first door on the right.“

“Had the Louisiana omelette, fish and chips, and strawberry waffle. Their waffle is super light and crispy unlike the usual dense and heavy waffle and everything is seasoned nicely without being overbearing. 10/10 would recommend to oversea friends not used to salty American food.“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ 5/5 Stars!
I'm obsessed with Bober Tea & Coffee in downtown! ☕️ This hidden gem serves up an incredible experience that will keep me coming back for more!
The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, perfect for a relaxing break from the hustle and bustle. But what truly sets Bober apart is the exceptional service from the friendly staff! Alex, in particular, went above and beyond to ensure I felt welcome and satisfied. His great customer service and infectious good cheer made my visit even more enjoyable!
Now, onto the main event - the drinks! 🤩 I tried the Vietnamese coffee and Bobo tea infusions, and both were incredibly good! The flavors were rich and well-balanced, and the presentation was Instagram-worthy. I'm still dreaming about that delicious coffee... ☕️
If you're a coffee or tea lover, do yourself a favor and visit Bober Tea & Coffee. Trust me, you won't be disappointed! 💯“

“This cafe is at the heart of Uptown Sacramento aka DPH. They are constantly thinking of ways to serve the community and foster a community of arts and culture that genuinely impacts the neighborhood. They are paired with Sac Youth Center and really care about coffee. If you are looking for a place with a mission that serves the community it resides in this is it!“

“I went here thinking I was going to get something similar to a raspado, but not exactly.
These snow cones are different. I don't know if giving a little bit of juice flavor is the intention or if they are stingy with it.
They also charged a man asking for an extra empty cup. I guess tariffs have hit hard.“

“Great place for a birthday party. Spacious with plenty of karaoke rooms. Nice choice of appetizers. Reasonably priced.“
“I've been here a few times before and tried a couple of items. I had a simple avocado ? toast. This Cafe has 3 different Avocado toast options which is great but, it's a distance from my office. I have to be willing to walk around our consistent campus construction to partake of this menu and today's the day. In the past, I wasn't eating meat for a while so, I had the basic avocado toast with everything but, the bagel seasoning. It's good but, definitely something you can make at home for less than the $5 cost. I purchased a tuna melt last time I was there. I should have ordered the tuna sandwich instead because I think I prefer untoasted bread when I eat tuna sandwiches. Soft is better. Today I had the avocado toast upgrade that is topped with a sliced boiled egg, and chopped bacon bits along with nothing but tge bage seasoning as well. I would have loved a breakfast sandwich but, this toast did the trick. A perfect combination. I ended up cutting it in half & making into a very full half sandwich with toasted bread, avocado, bacon, and hard boiled egg.It was a great breakfast for a whopping $6.79 it was definitely worth the price. I am sure I'll have it again 1 day but, not too often. I have been avoiding & minimizing how much delicious bacon I consume for health reasons. So, a little on occasion is absolutely fine with me.If you're ever at the UC Davis Health Sacramento Campus, look for the Scrubs Cafe in the Medical Education Building & try this awesome avocado toast but, MA it your own. ?? Best thing I've had from Scrubs Cafe East.
Vegetarian options: Veggie Burritos ?, Veggie Sandwiches, Pastries, and other items.
Parking: Parking on-site is horrible and hard to find. You could park at the main medical center structure and be charged for the amount of time that you are on-site. If you park there you have a good 5 minute walk across the street past all fenced off construction diagonal to the medical center tge medical education building sits on the corner across from the grassy field that connects to Shriners Children's Hospital.“
