Antonio Sessa's Made in Italy was a delightful surprise. Every bite transported me back to Italy. The food was prepared with such care and passion that it was clear this Italian Chef had a truly deep love for our cuisine. “We made a lunch reservation for a party of 9 on a Saturday for a birthday celebration. We were seated immediately at a large round table outside with a beautiful view of the lake. The service is fantastic. The wait staff is extremely friendly and attentive. Since it was a weekend we were able to order from either the lunch menu or brunch menu so there were tons of options. I had the grilled salmon which was cooked perfectly. My husband had the steak frites which he really liked. He said it was a nice tender cut of beef. Our group also had the chicken parmesan and some breakfast/brunch items which they all enjoyed. They have a very large outdoor seating area and it’s nice sitting outside with the lake. Very nice weekend brunch vibe. I was pleasantly surprised by the price point since most brunch spots can be way overpriced. They served their signature Baked Alaska as a free dessert for the birthday girl which was really cool since it’s served flambéd. I really enjoyed Boccaccio’s and will definitely be back to try their dinner items.“
