“I had the best birthday dinner at Lalc! I had the Giant Sandwich loaded with Andouille sausage, brisket and pulled pork over slaw on a Ciabatta roll! It was soooo big I could only eat half! The Brussels spouts were amazing and the 5 cheese Mac and Cheese was the best we have ever had! 5 Star!!!! I must try!!!“

“Shootz is sooo good. I usually get the katsu chicken sandwich and spam masubi. The portion is kinda big and the quality is consistent. One of the best places to eat at rodeo 39! The chicken sandwich is so crispy and the spam masubi has a crunch at the top which makes it so yummy.“

“Been here twice and tried a number of dishes. The parking lot is a little sketch sometimes but the service is always great. They some specialty dishes that I don't see everywhere and I love they open early. Vietnamese breakfast, yes please. Every dish I've had taste a lot cleaner/healthier than the other places in OC. This used to be a coffee shop and they swapped to just restaurant because their food was being raved about. I'm a fan.“

“Incredible Brazilian food. Everything we had was fantastic. My only gripe is it is a little pricey, but overall the food and service were top notch. Go on a Saturday or Sunday when they make Feijoada, a national specialty dish in Brazil. I am American and I went with my Brazilian wife and another Brasileira and they both complimented all the food and said it was very traditional and delicious 😋“

I loved it so much! 🤤 the to-go packaging made it very convenient to eat, the ribeye was already cooked in the soup and wasn’t raw. I also did try the crème brûlée here and I wouldn’t be able to recommend that but the ribeye pho is just delish and deserves the 5 stars in its own 😋“

“Had the chicken katsu bento. The chicken was nice and crispy, to the point that you could hear the crunch in every bite, while still being nice and juicy. It was accompanied by a really good potatoe salad, but the best side was the hijiki salad. It was nice and refreshing. The pork & cheese, also chicken & cheese pupusas are fantastic! The owner was helpful & her husband is always nice. The menu, which is laid out well. Clean restroom, authentic decor, nice variety of drinks. Music is at a high volume. Yummy spicy curtido and the red sauce is just right, with good spices. “I like the big portion of this restaurant. I went 2 people so we ordered 2 dishes. We tried: 1. Pork Back Bone Stew: very huge portion. The meat is soft and you can feel the broth has been well cooked that gives you the sweet and rich taste. 2. Stir Fried Squid (because I love squid!): very good. This dish can be eaten with rice (if you want to be full) or will paired good with a taste of Soju. The portions are big so don't over ordering or you will have some food to go. The food is a little plaint and there's salt to add (if you are a salty food fan) to assure you don't leave the broth behind. You will feel healthy as you leave the place. Will be great to have for hangover or when you are sick. I went on a weekend night for dinner and the restaurant was a little quiet. I think this place is most suitable for lunch. I would definitely come back to try their other stews and pork belly!“

“Every time I come back to visit CA we make it a point to visit. Nowhere else can I find ensenada style fish tacos that can rival this place! The grilled yellow peppers and tacos are things that my husband and I LITERALLY dream about from time to time. Quick service, great prices, and probably delicious food. The menu has expanded so much since the first time I came to another location years ago. Glad to see they're growing. Hopefully they make it all the way out to GA eventually“

“I always order take-out, so can’t really comment on the atmosphere. But the DIM SUM is great. All very tasty and good. Peking duck is also fantastic. It’s easy to order online for a set time to pick up, even a day ahead. You have to park in the structure, but they validate for pick-ups.

Vegetarian options: One in our household is vegetarian and she enjoys the shrimp and veg options (turnip cakes, garlic noodles, spicy shrimp noodles, shrimp dumplings, shrimp balls, cabbage, etc.“
