“It was so nice to come to The Hop Riot. Great ambience for a date night. Very friendly employees. Great selection of beer on tap and wine by the bottle. The menu of bar notes and meals was excellent. You haven’t stop by and try it out. I will be going back soon.“

“This steakhouse had the most amazing filets we've had! The steaks were cooked to perfection, and watching them actually wood fire them was an experience. The loaded baked potato was my husband's favorite this side of 5th Street Steakhouse in Chico. The Brussels sprouts were divine! The portions are huge, you can't go wrong with anything ordered. The bread and butter was delicious; warm bread served with softened butter is never a miss. Drinks were great, although a tad slow to arrive. Our servers tried to be accommodating, but the hi-rollers at the next table took so much of their time, we felt a bit overlooked. We would absolutely recommend this restaurant!“

“For the first time in twenty or so years the dinner was a disappointment. The veal marsala was edible but bland and certainly not up to it's standard. The penne caprisio was flavored (??????) with a watery sauce yhat was best eaten with a spoon....the dish was returned and rebuilt with some moderate sauce that was not up to any standart....the lasagna was great“
