Was in Artesia with a friend to try some good Indian food and we found it. I got the Shahi Paneer and my friend got a spiced cauliflower dish I can't remember the name of and both were absolutely beyond. I also can't recommend the jeera rice enough, maybe my favorite way to have rice now and they do not season lightly. Server was super sweet and was happy to explain anything we had questions on which is especially nice since I will say yes to anything food related. Also very accommodating for vegetarian/vegans which is a huge bonus. Can't wait to come back and try more :)“

This is a nice family run restaurant in strip mall in Cerritos with the typical “hole in the wall”. the prices are good and everything is made from scratch- which makes the food more delicious. excellent bullet garlic naan bread. Really good. Palak paneer also top notch. However the samosa chaat is outstanding as is the Masala chai( sweet and spicy even with no sugar as we requested)- yum. “We were on a trip to LA and really wanted to have a proper South Indian food for lunch. We chose this place based on the reviews. We dined on a weekday noon. It was not very busy. We orders thali , parotta kurma , poori bhaji and punugulu. Every item was very fresh and tasty. Meals in particular was very authentic. The thali came with rice, sambhar, poriyal, dal, vital , more kuzhambu, papad , sweet. They serve unlimited meals ( they do check with you if you need a second serving) The staff were very friendly and checked on us every now and then. They made sure we got everything. The food was so good we digged in right away, hence no pics !! Tea was delicious too. We would have dined here again if we had stayed close by. If you are looking for a comfort South Indian food , this would be the place.“

“The food was tasty but there were some disappointments- we asked very clearly for very spicy and I made it clear that my wife is from Thailand and we are both accustomed to eating extremely spicy food. The food was not very spicy at all. I was disappointed by the lack of condiments and chutneys and also disappointed they brought so much bread at once and never offered fresh, so it was no longer warm and crispy by the time we finished. “I am a vegan on Covid lockdown and was craving some kofta for delivery, but all the local Indian restaurants make it with paneer. Finding this restaurant with a vegan menu that delivers was a treasure. Most Indian food is too spicy for me, but here I was able to choose the level of heat from mild, medium or spicy. Other Indian restaurants interpret “mild” as no seasoning at all but my Kofta, Desi Chole, Samosa and Baingan Bhuna were perfectly seasoned to my taste, a wonderful blend of dish individualized curry spices with just enough heat to slightly warm without harm. Also, it was not greasy at all, unlike the local places where the veggies are swimming in oil. I wish the rice dishes were made with brown basmati rice but plain brown rice can be ordered as a side, as it I didn’t have a lot of it cooked in the freezer already. The prices seem a little high for me, so I can’t afford to eat here very often, but will definitely come back as the perfect place to celebrate special occasions once I’m well.“
