“Kim’s Korean BBQ is the only Korean BBQ restaurant in Rolling Hills. While it is expected to get smelly in the BBQ restaurant, at least the dining room is bright and clean. Servers might not be super friendly, but they are accommodating and efficient. Price is reasonable in the area. Highly recommend the flavorful Bone-In Short Rib Soup (US$ 22) and tasty Hot Stone Bi Bim Bap (US$ 24).“

We went with A, and ordered two Soju’s, because of his recommendation. We got the green grape, and peach. The whole evening was wonderful. They have a very convenient salad bar for all sides you might want.“

“As a KC native, I am picky about barbecue and this is one of the only places down in LA that lives up to expectations. Solid food (we tried ribs, burnt ends, the tri-tip sandwich, onion rings, and the loaded mac and cheese with brisket), large portions, and reasonable prices for the amount of food you get. “I found this new BBQ pop-up in Lakewood at the YMCA and I can’t say enough good things about it. From the kindness of the family that runs it, to the delicious food. Last week I had the 3 meat plate (I chose brisket, pork belly and chicken) which came with 2 sides and it was only $28! The brisket and pork belly were SO tender and juicy and had an amazing flavor! Earlier today I had the one meat plate with chicken, this coleslaw that is probably the best I’ve ever tasted, and their brisket chow mein. So good! Everything is homemade down to the sauces and they have things like burritos and Texas toast brisket grilled cheese. It’s called Axiom Kitchen. Husband, wife and kids and so kind…they made us feel so special. We haven’t had service like that in a long time. I know they are at the Lakewood YMCA on Sundays and I think Fridays and they are at another location on Thursday but I’m not sure where.“

“So far I have tried the spicy Korean fried chicken bowl, pork belly bowl and japchae, all of delicious. Always fresh. My toddler only likes japchae from an AYCE kbbq in Garden Grove, but she has approved of yours. 10/10 every time. I am always greeted with a smile. I will keep coming back.“

This was my first time at Broken Spirits distillery. Came oodles of times at Portuguese Bend distillery so it the restaurant is similar yet different at the same time. Major differences for me: I feel like this is more of a BBQ based restaurant/distillery with all the meat on the menu. (Don't get me wrong, I love the meat!). We ordered and shared the 16 oz prime New York steak ($44.99) which also comes with two sides! This is a killer deal that I would def come back for. For sides we got broccolini and fried Brussels. ( Alone they're $7 side). TBH, I kind of enjoyed the sides a bit more than the entree itself, but both were great.

Cocktails were yummy too as they were about avg price for LA county at $14 each. Came fast and tasted great!

There is plenty of seating inside and service was great. Parking is close in the garage across the street if there is no street parking.

“We came here very earlier and it was just open. We never tried this before, the owner is very friendly and introduced everything to us. We tried the intestine combo, and we very recommend the combination of abomasum, mountain chain and large intestine. The texture of abomasum and mountain chain are very chewy, and combine with the large intestine, it is very oily smooth. It is definitely worth a try!“

“This spot is within a food hall and I love these setups because of the amount of food options available.

I ordered their bulgogi burrito with no rice along with their Korean spicy popcorn chicken. The burrito was phenomenal and one of the best burritos I’ve ever had. A bulgogi bowl but put into a wrap and the popcorn chicken was solid. Overall both items were delicious.

I’d definitely come back to try their other menu items and overall it was an excellent lunch!

“For a small cafe, this place is great with quick service and good food. My go to order is usually the Pokerito (Sushi Burrito wrapped in Nori). I usually order it with the Salmon Spicy Mayo. I've also had the Chicken Adobo Plate, Loco Moco, BBQ Pork Belly plate, grilled Salmon and Bone in Beef ribs (the larger ones) with mac salad and rice to die for. Flavors are consistent and I like the way they season the Mac salad.“

“This is by far the best all you can eat AYCE Kbbq restaurant in Torrance. The staff were incredibly attentive and A++ for the cleanliness of the restaurant. 😊 I really like that most of the common cookable meats are out on the salad bar as well as vegetables, appetizers, all the sauces, fruits 🤤 all readily available to everyone - so you can easily get more. 😉 I highly recommend trying the beef belly, beef rib finger and marinated short ribs each cut was tender and flavorful. Parking: It's in a strip mall with other restaurants, on a busy corner, & I have seen the lot packed during the day. Parking is tight there during the day, & due to the busy corner, it's tough to get in & out of. However, I normally do my b.b.q. chicken runs in the evenings after half of the businesses in that strip mall have closed, so parking isn't an issue!“

“I've tried just about everything on the menu at Shady Grove Foods and nothing disappoints. I can close my eyes and put my finger on the menu and I would be happy wherever it landed. I had Sticky Bones again tonight and I'm as thrilled as the first time I tried them and all the other times I've had them and in fact I feel like tonight's were the best ever. I seriously enjoy their food and hospitality. The hardest part is driving back to Cal Heights without opening the box and start eating.
