“Stopped in while visiting Healdsburg for the Jordan Winery Halloween party and had an awesome time. Classic dive bar vibe with friendly staff and a laid-back crowd. Drinks were great, service was quick, and everyone made us feel welcome. The best part, I accidentally left my credit card behind, and they went out of their way to mail it back to me. That kind of customer service is rare these days. Highly recommend this spot if you’re in town!“

Yes, bring a party for the large round tables or sit at the bar. In the Sonoma County Wine Country right next to Santa Rosa High School and the Junior College, you have a high volume bar pouring whiskey, tequila and brandy with a pizza oven upstairs serving chicken wings, fresh Sonoma County style Cobb Salad, baked mushrooms, garlicky pesto, a taste for everyone including those who want deliciously ugly, tasty, nasty chili cheese melted Monster style. We still think about the chili fries hours after eating. For months since I moved to Santa Rosa from Las Vegas, I have heard about the Belvedere from people at the gym that replace protein powder with high intensity intoxicated cocktails on Friday and Saturday night, but I didn’t care to indulge underground as much as I wanted to eat pizza with Italian sausage, pepperoni, mushrooms, before going down into the dungeon. The place is popular. Miranda helped us out like a Santa Rosa tour guide. She told us about the bars and their personalities. We had a great meal hanging out in the restaurant before mixing drinks downstairs. Santa Rosa is lucky to have Belvedere. The bar keeps people from driving to San Francisco in the rain the weekend. “I still recommend but have to say disappointed today in a few items. 1. the coleslaw flavor was fine but now is minced so small it feels like you are eating baby food and tastes bland 2. the cornbeef was surprisingly on the dry side 3. cheesecake totally dry crust and flavor just average and strawberry topping soggy 4. soup was terrific the quality of food seems to be going down and that’s sad“

“The Harvest Menu was great food and a great value. We were a large party (9) and sat at one of the fire tables. Waiter was not helpful in accommodating an allergy and was not very attentive. He said the chef said no other salad was available but that he would add the beet salad on to our order and then he charged us for it. Atmosphere is great, food is outstanding and beautiful but I would suggest that they focus a bit more on making their guest feel appreciated and special.“

“My daughter recommended this restaurant and I took my sister there last night. The food was very good, and would totally go back again. BUT I had a $50.00 gift certificate to use on a $70.+ tab and they wouldn't take it. Waiter said, manager isn't accepting gift certificates at this time. What the hell? It's not cheap to eat out any more as it is, and to not to accept a gift certificate is BS!“

The Highlight for me on this visit was the Hobs Heavy barrel aged gin, it’s truly exceptional.

The Sherry cask and Port finish bourbons are nice additions to their lineup. They have a wonderful single barrel 4 year 4 grain mash as well.“
