“This is way better than you typical Tex-Mex restaurant. Much more like a restaurant you would find on Mexico's West Coast. Tortilla's fresh off the grill. Excellent steaks. Many fresh fish options. Even a carne asada pizza. There are literally dozens of unique things on the menu to try.Parking: The day and time I went parking was plentiful“
“We visited Townes during Sonoma County restaurant week and they did not disappoint! Their Mussels were absolutely to die for! There wasn't just a simple broth in the bottom of the dish, it was more like a tasty chowder with fine veggies and seasonings that you wanted to soak up every drop of! Their desserts were also yummy. The setting is pretty simple having previously been 3rd Street Ale Works but the food and service was stellar!“
“Another amazing restaurant in Healdsburg. We loved the global creativity of the dishes, the elegant cocktails, and the fun atmosphere. The service was exceptional too. We sat at the bar (I thought I’d made a reservation but hadn’t) and we were glad to be there. The folks behind the bar were engaging and interesting. We had the two specials (a crudo and the croquette) and the dry rubbed ribs and French fries. Each dish was unique and clever. It’s going to be hard not going back every time we are in town.“
“Casual dinning done right.A gem of a neighbourhood eatery, to be jealous of.From start to check, was flawless.Friendly, attentive staff, proud to show off their wines and a food.Everything we ate was on point, and everything we drank equally as good.Good portions and easy to share courses was a vibe.“
“I've been going to Betty's Fish and Chips sice the early 2000s. I've been a fan of breaded fish since I was in my late teens, which is over fifty years. When I discovered Betty's I hit the jackpot! Another treat is the pies they make. You'll love visiting Betty's.Parking: During the week is a great time for a visit, especially if your retired. Betty's is popular, it can get crowded but the visit is worth it.“
“Rice is good, beans are good, chips are good, meat is good, avocado is great. The one thing is that the meal is missing that flare, something to make it stand out. I would suggest to anyone planning to go there is to save your salsa and throw it into the mix. The chips are good but the salsa is more like hot sauce so doesn't really set the tone for chips and salsa. Unless you are into hot of course.“
“It would be cool if the boats were being utilized for food. The top part (a conveyor belt) was functional and some of our food came to the table on jt. Overall the food was okay in an area without many Japanese cuisine offerings. If I was around I'd come back, but I wouldn't go out of my way to come. Nice staff, OK service (we came during a busy time). Restaurant was clean.“
“We had read that all pasta was freshly made in house. Everything we ordered was delicious. The portions were generous. The service was attentive without being overbearing. We highly recommend this restaurant and we'd love to eat there again whenever we're in the area.“
“A+ service and food. Beef Cheek, Salmon, Scallops, Onion Soup and Creme Brule (huge) were extremely well prepared. Beef fell apart with a fork, wonderful flavor. Potatoes under with the gravy, perfect fit. Scallop dish very rich. Cheesy, flavorful and cooked perfectly. Sauce was stupid good. Probably was the highest A+. Onion soup was exactly what it should have been....Classic French Onion Soup. Salmon done very French style. Sauce was over the top good. Creme Brule was huge, biggest I have ever been served (over 100 times). More importantly, excellent flavor and texture (both custard and hard flamed top). Service was attentive, timely and not overbearing. Really awesome experience!!! Will be back very soon!!“
“Visiting Santa Rosa and you're looking for a local steak house definitely try Starks. Staff are friendly and know steaks and wines! Leo helped us to understand the menu. We were extremely happy and the steaks were delicious paired with a great red wine. Recommend and we'll be back!“
“I love going to Parish on a nice, sunny day. It was stormy out when we were there, and unfortunately, every time the wait staff had to open the door by our table, it didn't fall shut by itself. The wind was high, and the temperature was low. Not their fault - it's a converted old house, which usually adds to the ambiance. This past Saturday, it was inconvenient and a bit uncomfortable.“
“Cozy little seafood restaurant in The Barlow. Comfortable space. Casual, friendly service. Only two types of oysters available when we visited but they were both delicious. Oddly, the spoon provided for the mignonette sauce was extremely large, like a large serving spoon, which was cute (?) but not helpful when trying to ladle the sauce out of its small shallow dish. We also ordered carpaccio and octopus. Everything was delicious. Wine list focused on oyster friendly wines, which I appreciated, including a strong selection of Champagne.“
“Ordered a sope with no lechuga but when they brought it out, it was filled with lettuce but I didn’t want to say anything so i scraped it off…other than that, food was good. Chips and the green dip was good. Parking can be limited and in the same area as walgreens, and other mini places like sushi and froyo.“
“Thank you to all of the reviewers, we also loved this delicious, clean, friendly restaurant! Everything was super fresh, delicious and carefully presented, plenty of food. Hot food was piping hot and Chirashi Bowl was full of fresh, nice & cold sashimi. Just an FYI; the Korean vegetable pancake while delicious is a bit greasy and tea very flavorless (pass on tea). Restaurant, tables, seats, all plates and cups were modern and super clean! The restaurant has large flat screens on each wall to watch sports (golf/soccer were on 02.13.24).Thank you so much!!!Photos;-Chirashi Bowl-Korean Vegetable Pancake-2 Item Bento (Tonkatsu & Tempura)“
“Came here on a Sunday morning, hungover, looking for the cure. prayed to the hunger gods and found this place. My hangover and hunger magically disappeared. Get the pozole!!! The pozole had a lot of flavor and the place had good service. It tastes yummy“
“Great place to meet up for a meal. The outdoor seating is nice for a warm day. I really enjoyed the calamari. It comes coated with a light sauce. Not overly faulty, but reminded me of asian sweet and sour sauce. The pork belly taco is also good.Dog friendly. It took us a little effort to find parking around, so plan with a bit extra time.“
“Had a great table in a great setting, great service with Paul, and great food. Lucky us! I have one tip, if you are on a low salt diet this is gonna be hard to pick out something. This is not a criticism. I did find it at the upper end of my personal tolerance, but please understand the food was delicious. Not only delicious but refreshingly creative. We eat by splitting courses. Started with the pimento cheese bread (brioche), this is not a stand-alone ap but a gooey topping on bread that is light, airy, and rich. It went well with their well above average Negroni. Creativity kicked in with the tacos, probably all of them are good. Our pick was pastrami tacos. Very fun. I've heard the duck choice is good. Next were the lamb meatballs. Some people complain about the gaminess of lamb, but I complain when it isn't gamey-lamby enough. If you like mild lamb, their choice of meat is great. My personal preferences aside, it was a very good dish. Finished with a very nice and just-right panna cotta. This place is definitely going into our rotation (The Santa Rosa, CA rotation: B&B, Jackson's, Grossmans, Ca Bianca, Cascabel, Yeti)“
“The salmon salad was very good. Lots of greens had extra to take home. The veggie egg rolls were also excellent. I left full. The staff was very kind helpful and sophisticated. I was not rushed and on a Sunday I really appreciate that. Thanks for a positive and serene experience.“
“The food is great here. The service is friendly and quick. This spot is truly a hidden gem! I am always shocked to see how little clients come here when it has a pretty good atmosphere for a Mexican restaurant. The music playlist us great and the food comes out promptly! My family loves this “
“Simple classic Chinese. Really friendly staff. The food comes out quick, hot and really great. I haven't had a bad dish there yet! The atmosphere is really dated but the food is not. I'd say one of the best in the area and I eat a lot, a lot of Asian food. The prices are reasonable and the portions are abundant! Keep up the good work.“
“The food here is always fresh and hefty. I had the dinner all you can eat special. I was full. I wish I had more room in my tummy to fit more food during the time I was there. The service was good except for that other tables who ordered after us got their meals before we got ours. They have a restroom for the customers and metered parking is available when it is not during peak hours for the area. Thank you.Vegetarian options: There are definitely a few vegetarian dishes to choose from and are really delicious too!“
“I’m not the biggest fan of fish/ seafood, but one of the sushi’s I liked was Super Giants. Out of the vegetarian options, I love how they have more options than most and even had a Paradise roll that came with mango which most sushi places don’t allow you to add. I also had their baby doll roll which tastes good with sauce on the side. Next time I’ll try their tempura mushroom. Their seaweed salad is one of the best though, quite delicious and looks aesthetic. Overall the place isn’t special, but is quite good and will be back again.Vegetarian options: Have a few good veggie options. Vegetarian friendlyParking: The parking is paid on most days, but I think free on weekendsDietary restrictions: Great for pescatarians and vegetarians. Have a few vegan options too.“
“Most of the food overall was really tasty, except ToGo pork ribs was really salty and chicken cashew little bit salty. Everything else were really delicious, such as papaya salad, egg rolls, chicken curry, larb salad, and the ToGo pad Thai beef noodles was the best. Thai ice tea drinks were a bit diluted. Ambiance was excellent- really nice environment and decors. Service overall was fast and friendly staff. We had to ask for Thai ice tea refill one time when it was empty. The only bummer thing was I had requested in the Open Table reservation@SeaThai Bistro that someone come sing "happy birthday to me with a slice of cake or something" since it was my birthday. No one came to sing or acknowledge at our table that it was my birthday. By the time we ate and waited for all various dishes and some to go, we were to just ready to go.“
“Spoonbar serves well-balanced dishes with an emphasis on quality and taste. The branzino was really good and the Brussels were excellent. Lamb meatballs with harissa sauce and feta were on point. Great wine list, too. In your staying anywhere in the Sonoma valley area, it's well worth the tripDietary restrictions: The menu is well marked with gluten free and vegan options.“
“Are you looking for a great yummy juicy sea food bowl . This is your spot. My food was so fresh and flavorful . My favorite spot for my craving times !! The service is so sweet and always checking in with you to make sure your needs are met . This restaurant is super clean and well maintained.“
“We came by here after a birthing class, and the food/service were great. I also saw them accommodate a late to go order 15 min before closing! The food was spectacular, and we will definitely be coming back. We were fortunate, and were able to try a few things due to their restaurant week specials. We started with the lentil soup which was fabulous. The green salad with the mango salad was addictive. Husband had the lamb vindaloo and I had the Chana masala, both were excellent. The veggie samosa and sauces were fantastic. The rice pudding was a perfect way to end the meal.Vegetarian options: There is an entire section of the menu for vegetarian/vegan options.Dietary restrictions: Vegetarian and vegan options“
