“The last Cupid's that just does what made them popular. The hot dogs 🌭 that I've enjoyed at this location for over 40 years. I enjoy the naturally tree shaded outdoor seating. 😎 I dropped in recently for a chili dog and was not disappointed.“

“I've been coming to this location for over a year. I've never seen such hard working staff at any other starbucks or any retail or food establishment ever. This place gets super busy and the team works like a well oiled machine and supervised by a great mgr. I see some baristas who work back to back shifts but their exhausted eyes give way to friendly and warm greetings. The people who give less than 4 stars must feel some sense of entitlement. This is the hardest working team I've ever seen.“

“Dr Dre and Andersen Pak restaurant. Sign me up! The service and atmosphere were great. We ordered alot of food and got to try alot of different things. Some were great like the wagyu beef and others were just OK which is why I gave it 3 stars. It's probably closer to 4 considering the service was great. Drinks were good also. I will admit in not a sushi person so I only tried one piece of sushi and it wasnt for me.“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“I was very skeptical first. I decided to give it a shot as a substitution for alcohol. And I gotta say, it blew my mind. Erica shared tons of information about Kava and the effects. After drinking the recommended drinks, she was NOT wrong! It’s delicious and highly recommend anyone to try it! Definitely see myself coming back!“

“I love In-N-Out. I've visited this establishment for over 20 years. The drive thru is busy, but the staff is amazing and handles it well. Because of my health issues, I don't have the appetite that I once had. I dropped in for a hamburger and was not disappointed. And where can you still get a quality burger for $4.11 in today's economy?“

“Great spot to get a quick eat. Burgers start at $9.99 & go up to $12.99, I believe. Service was great & the food came out super quick. I ordered the spicy smash burger. Honestly, it was pretty good.

The only change I would suggest is to substitute the regular cheese with pepper jack since it is the spicy version of the smash burger.

Also, I would lean towards ordering the curly fires with the order instead of the regular fries. The regular fries are okay, I feel that the curly fries had a lot more texture & flavor to offer that goes well with the meal.

All in all, I'd go back if I find myself in the area. They just gotta be careful in case some sea crustacean, like a Plankton, tries to steal their burger formula for himself.“

“This is a very cute restaurant and the food is fantastic. The servers were all very friendly. I highly recommend the chilaquiles, it is not a very large portion as I typically would expect of a dish like chilaquiles, so if you’re sharing, order at least one per every two people. It has a very pleasant citrus taste to it and the chips are great. The egg pizza (add bacon) is fantastic. The combination of flavors between the runny egg yolk, caramelized onions, bacon, and cheese all blend magnificently together. I also had the Noa’s cauliflower, which was good but not as amazing as the previous dishes, however that didn’t stop me from eating all of it. The chefs French toast is a bit eggy, but makes a nice sweet finish to brunch. I would highly recommend this place and will definitely be eating here again.“

“2024 Update: The beers and fries were still good, but the burgers were not as good as I remembered. Only service dogs are allowed inside now, but the large patio outside is partially heated. Parking was easy and the location is close to the highway though, so that's also a plus.

“I would say it’s one of the best diners in the valley. I drove up from West LA specifically for breakfast today and was really impressed for my first time visit. It’s your true retro LA style diner complimented with friendly service and delicious food. Our server was honestly fantastic and all of our items arrived quickly after ordering them. I also love the design on the inside, it’s the retro 50’s era old diner that you would expect full of booths and counter seating. They have a free parking lot attached otherwise street parking is easy to find as well.

We started off with the homemade Coffee Cake and it was terrific. Coffee Cake is one of my favorite desserts and honestly this was one of the better ones that I’ve had in a long time. I would highly recommend it. For my meal, I had a glass of their orange juice because they make it in-house and have a giant machine right behind the counter so I had to try it and it was delicious as expected. For my meal, I chose the Pork Belly Eggs Benedict and thought it was great. The hollandaise sauce was homemade and not the canned type and the pork was crispy, but also flavorful. The hashbrowns on the side were also done exactly as I like them. Overall, it was a fantastic meal.

I would highly recommend to anyone searching for a great diner, breakfast, or lunch option. I plan to be back soon and I’m eager to try more items.

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. The ambiance is very Italian and welcoming. We found a true gem! Thank you Robert, Eddie and staff! We will be back soon!“

“This Bakery is Beyond amazing 👏 😍 They make fresh fruit smoothies :^) they have multiple milk options 😋 They offer fresh juices that are healthy, yet delicious. They have delicious sandwiches. “I was looking for a local coffee shop halfway between the Palisades and BH and Clark Street popped up. What a little gem. Tucked into a small shopping center with plenty of metered parking in front, was this gem of a local spot that not only had great coffee but the most drool-worthy selection of fresh-baked goods. It was a beautiful day so my friend and I sat outside at one of the few tables and enjoyed a beautiful catch-up after not seeing each other for eight years. So happy to know about Clark Street. I believe they’ve got locations in other neighborhoods around the city. Perfection!“

“Modern Bagel is a fantastic spot! The staff was super friendly and helpful, making the experience even better. I really appreciate that they offer gluten- and nut-free options, so my friends and I can all eat here without restrictions.

I had the Cookie Crumble Latte—delicious! The Big Show was also amazing; I loved their vegan sausage, and the bagels were so fresh. The only downside was that my donut was a bit dry, but everything else was great.

“Defrankos was our first stop on our 12 day vacation from Canada. We got off the flyaway and walked down a few blocks with all of our luggage in tow. The staff were incredibly friendly, they gave us such a warm welcome to California… but beyond that the food was AMAZING. The spices and aromatic flavors make this dish addictive. Classy little drizzle of olive oil and herbs. But don't forget the bread. So chewy and soft! Omg it's amazing. First thing I do when I land in LA and head to my office, I order one of these. It's a big portion, I never eat it in one sitting. But it reheats well. I wish I could say more about the rest of the items on the menu, but I've never made it past the shakshuka.

“I've lived in the. neighborhood and always knew Baked It Myself was here but because of work and just being plain forgetful, i never had the chance to try it until a few weeks ago. I've been there once a week since and i'll continue to be a regular. Some of the best food in the area for a great price. I've stuck to their sandwiches so far: hanger steak panini, brie prosciutto and pear and the fried chicken and fries special. all three HIT. and the delicious free cookie with them is icing on the cake.

it's a side street on van nuys, no frills cozy inside with outdoor seating that's actually on one of the nicer feeling streets in this area.

“This is the go to taco spot. I been coming here for a while now and they never disappoint. I tried their Carne asada tacos, asada quesadillas and asada burrito. The way they season the Carne asada is delicious and the red sauce that they give is the perfect combination. They now accept credit card but they charge a small fee if you use that. You can still pay cash or zelle if you don't want to use your credit card. The staff are very friendly and the guy working as the cashier is awesome. My wife also loves their food as well.

Parking: They are on Balboa and Nordhoff, more toward the back of Burger kings so there parking spots there.

Kid-friendliness: This place is kid friendly but they are near the main street of Nordhoff so just keep an eye on them.“
