“This was my first time visiting this cafe, as my friend who lives in Winnetka recommended it after hearing positive reviews. The coffee itself was great! Although, I had a hard time enjoying the turkey sandwich that I ordered. For 9 bucks, I feel as though the sandwich was lacking, especially as the avocado was not distributed evenly and ended up falling out after my first bite. Maybe next time, I’ll get the egg bagel. But overall vibe was nice and the employees were friendly.“

“Where to start…so I ran out of gas in the drive-thru today. That’s on prioritizing Starbucks and fueling myself over my car. However, the assistant manager and her team came in clutch. They were polite, efficient, kind, and best of all helped push my car into a parking spot. She’s honestly incredible. She balanced communicating with other guests, diffusing the issue, and found a solution all while making me feel like I wasn’t the huge inconvenience that I definitely was. Thank you doesn’t say enough. She has the special quality of a great leader and deserves the best in life. Shout out to everyone who helped me. Thanks again.“

“I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“I highly recommend this Kava bar in Reseda. It's a very unique experience with really delicious kava drinks and shots. The staff is also very friendly and the bar is quite inviting. “Love the atmosphere of this comfortably casual bar. Ample outdoor seating provides the perfect spot to sip a beer or two relaxing in the sunshine. I don’t eat meat so I haven’t tried the burgers, which come highly recommended. The garlic parmesan fries are excellent and enough for 3 people. Sorry I can’t say the same for the cauliflower wings or pretzels with cheese sauce. But I had the best-poured beer of my life—a fresh Scrimshaw pilsner in a sparkling-clean glass. See attached video. Despite the venue’s name, they now offer cocktails as well as beer and wine.“

“Topanga Social has quickly become one of my favorite spots in the Valley. We went to STK for dinner and had a fantastic time. The restaurant has a lively yet classy atmosphere that feels both modern and comfortable. It’s the kind of place that works equally well for a special celebration or a casual night out.

The food at STK was excellent—fresh, flavorful, and beautifully presented. Every dish tasted like it was prepared with care, and portion sizes were just right. From start to finish, the quality really stood out. Service was just as impressive. Our server was attentive without hovering, answered all our questions, and kept everything moving at a great pace. Drinks, recommendations, timing—it all felt effortless, which made the evening that much more enjoyable.

After dinner, we went to the movie theatres at Topanga Social, and that was the perfect way to round out the night. The theatres were spotless, well-designed, and very comfortable. The reclining seats were a highlight, and the sound and screen quality were excellent. It was easy to relax and enjoy the movie without a single distraction.

What I love most about Topanga Social is that it combines everything in one place—great dining, entertainment, and a vibrant atmosphere. It feels like a destination rather than just a stop, and that makes it special. STK delivered on all fronts, and the theatres added an extra touch that made the whole evening memorable.

“Excellent NY style pizza on this side of the country, crispy undercarriage, no flop, plenty of cheese and a good sauce.

I highly recommend if you like a NY style pie.
I got a plain cheese & a grandma slice, I didn’t get pics bc I ate it so fast.

Eat it fresh out of the oven if you want that true crispy, crunchy pizza experience, don’t wait until you get home!!! Just my advice.“

“What an incredible hidden gem! We were craving Italian food and decided to check out Al Italiano. Walked in on a Tuesday night a little before closing. Eddie and the owner Robert greeted us warmly. The menu has some great options and we were indecisive what to order. Our waiter Eddie is a first class professional and answered all our questions with patience and in details. His recommendations were amazing. We ordered Eggplant Parmesan, Veal Piccata, Children’s cheese pizza, Salumiere pizza and their homemade Tiramisu. Everything was excellent and so tasty. The whole experience at Al Italiano was outstanding and unforgettable. Robert is a great business owner who actually cares and treats you like family. His whole staff is very respectful and helpful. “This is 100% my favorite acai bowl spot in LA! I eat acai bowls every day so that says a lot haha I love that the acai bowls aren’t frozen or icy. KAREN is such a nice person and then the owner Larry and his son are such great guys who make you feel welcome every single time you come in.“
