“The Acai bowl was on point !! Better than the one at the mall (except there aren’t any options for other fruits but that’s more than fine !!!)
Take out, consistency of the Acai was pure and thick.

“Believe it or not this location is a hidden gem. The lady who works here is so nice and gives you very good service. They have burgers, beerlf, turkey patties, chicken, and impossible burgers. There shakes and buffalo are good too. They even have vegan burgers and vegan milkshakes. The lemonade and watermelon strawberry lemonade are made fresh. The booths themselves could uses a little TLC but everything is kept very clean. They are also right around the corner from Sky Zone if you need to grab a quick bite before or after some bounce time. I also like that they are open late. There is also a kids menu.“

“5 stars for the delicious and high quality sushi. plus i have a gluten allergy and the chef/ server was super considerate and knew exactly what needed to be modified. my favorites were the bluefin tuna nigiri and the yellowtail hand roll (with soy paper), and i don’t typically like yellowtail.

however, i did not realize there was a 16% service fee included in the bill. it says so on the menu so that’s my oversight but at kazu nori, for example, the server tells you not to tip because of the service fee. so on the little screen i tipped 20% on top of the 16% service fee and tax. it’s my bad for not paying closer attention but they don’t verbally tell you either.“

“I just had lunch with my two daughters, ages 12 and 15. It was our first time here.

We ordered three plates: two 3-birria taco combo plates and one order of vampire tacos with chorizo. We tried all the sauces that came with them, along with a 24-ounce horchata.

My girls and I are usually pretty loud. We talk. We’re animated. We gush over the food.

But when we ate these tacos, we ate in silence because the food was that good. To speak would have taken us out of the moment. So we said nothing. We just sat there, lost in our own thoughts, luxuriating in tender meats, spicy red sauce, and complex flavors.

“My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.“

Thank you so much for correcting the situation, I’m glad faregrounds has integrity and amazing customer service. Yesterday I tried the spicy don and banana matcha - both were so delicious. I loved the crispy chicken in it , I’m so impressed that it’s completely organic and no bad oils. As for the matcha it wasn’t overly sweet, it was just right. I really want to try your other options next.

3/27/26 - Unfortunately I did not like the food. I ordered the cheesesteaks and it grossed me out. Why dont you guys cut off the fat. You really think I want to pay $20 for a sandwich full of blubber?“

“This place is amazing! They have an AWESOME happy hour and the setting (half open air bar and seating + half inside spacious restaurant) is honestly perfect for LA. Great vibes. Fantastic staff across the board. I love everyone there and wish I knew all of their names because I have only had good experiences, but Aria and Jake are two recent favorites. “I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“If you've ever been to Ichiran, this is a very similar experience. You get a menu card to fill out what you want while you wait for a table to be available. I'm just going to get it out of the way, the ramen is fantastic. Get the original tonkotsu broth you WON'T regret it. The karage chicken was a solid 4/5 I'd get it again but I've had better. My only gripe with the whole experience was that it was fairly cold outside and we were sitting right next to the open door. Other than that, I definitely recommend this place, I'll be coming back for sure.“
