“My absolute new favorite restaurant! We were visiting family in LA from Chicago and they took us here, I ended up going three times in my one week visit. Cheese stuffed zaatar and the sojouk kachopuri were my favorite and the garlic chicken wrap was my husbands. Honestly everything we had was delicious and the kids kept asking for the pepperoni pizza and mini pizzas.“

“I’ve been to Bacari a bunch of times, but brought a friend yesterday for her first visit and it was easily our best experience yet. Our server Sara was awesome—super attentive, a great listener, and just made the whole night special.
The food was totally on point. The crispy schnitzel and the shawarma tacos (perfect meat-to-slaw ratio) were highlights, and the Asian pear pizza 😋 was amazing. The only tiny thing was the pistachio sfoglia was a little bit overdressed with the sweet cream, but still good.
My friend loved her cocktails, and as a mocktail drinker, kudos to the bartender. The mocktail dirty martini (Salt n Solace) was PERFECT. The Botanica was good too, just a bit too sweet for me (next time I'll just ask to swap the tonic for club soda).
Bacari is always a great spot to hang out, but yesterday was exceptional. Thank you Sara for taking such good care of us!“

It seems to be a unicorn eatery: the atmosphere / decor so tasteful and upscale, the location central hustle and bustle, the food bursting with flavor - yet prices were completely reasonable and the place felt calming and quaint. Special shoutout to the server tonight who represented a perfect mix of attentiveness and giving us a personal space.

A chef stepped out with a dish and was taking photos outside, and on his way back we asked if it was new. He offered us the plate and told us it's coming onto the fall menu in a couple weeks. “I have been going to Porto's since the 1980's..the one in Glendale. How elated I was with having them being in Northridge where I live. The food is terrific and the lines go fast due to a tremendous quick system they have. The catering for parties has never let us down and people you have invited that never have experienced Portos are thrilled. The cakes are delicious. What I do miss is not having the individual cake slices for purchase so you can experience the taste. They only have the neapolitan, Parisian, and carrot for slices. I've seen the menu change over time and do miss some of the items.“

“My wife and I are from Sacramento, we cane down to NOHO for Universal Studios. We got here a day early and we always search for Ramen. We cane across this place. The place is small and seating is limited. Let's fast forward to the food. We both got the OG tonkatsu ramen at a mild spice flavor and eggs rolls and spicy edemame. The eggs rolls weren't special, the edemame was really good. Now for the main ramen it was delicious. The broth was thick and flavorful, the meat was cut smaller than what I'm used to and it was definitely a plus. Overall I will definitely come here again when I'm in the city“
