“First time at this location, hubby and I stopped for lunch. The staff were nice and efficient. Food was hot and tasty as always. We sat at the covered tables on the upper deck (clean and provided shade) as it was hot but a little breezy. Overall, we would stop here again, next time we are in the valley. 😊“

“The workers here are so chill, no one is rude or struggles to understand basic English. They never complain if I ask for extra sauces or anything like that. Compared to the McDonald’s around the corner, it’s a night-and-day difference. I really appreciate the employees here for being so kind and chill. Some of the nicest fast food workers I’ve encountered for sure and they always make the food quickly and on time. It makes the visit so much better. Whoever the hiring manager is deserves a raise. Oh and the food always hits.“

But taking selfies is not what Mike gets paid to do.
Mike was kind enough to do this for me because I asked him to.
And the reason that I asked him to is because of what Mike does.
Mike does sandwich artistry and customer service.
And he does them well.

And when I say sandwich artistry, I mean that I watched him make my sandwich, and watching how he placed every piece of produce onto the sandwich with care and intentionality, it prompted me to ask him how long he had been working here.

He replied that he had been working at Subway since 2018, so approximately 8 years.
I eagerly let him know that his 8 years of experience shows in the care that he takes in making the sandwich. Watching him, it's evident to see that he takes great care in making sure that each sandwich component is placed proportionately and evenly.

Literally, like a piece of artwork.

Very kind, very considerate, and once he realized that I had mobility issues, he definitely went above and beyond the call of duty to offer me assistance. From bagging, to holding the door open for me, he made sure to have an open hand the entire time.

So if you're in the area, and you're hungry...

Or even if you're not hungry, to be honest....

I would definitely recommend coming here between the hours of 4:00 and 6:00 p.m., during the weekdays, and anytime during the weekends.

And if you end up getting a couple of footlongs, you might be in for a great surprise.

UPDATE: 8 - 24 - 2026

Just after 4:00 p.m., I ambulated into Subway and was greeted by Sandwich artist Victor. Victor has been there about 3 years less than Mike, but he's just as proficient, an equally as hospitable. Please introduce me to the Doritos Footlong Nachos.

“Krishan is awesome. I was watching him build my sandwich and he’s the first I’ve seen that artistically makes it look nicely made. I’ve seen some that just slap everything on and gets messy. Not him. He makes it look very nice. I recommend this place 100%. Some day “it’s just a sandwich”. No. It’s not messily made. It’s made like he truly enjoys his job. I’ll be back again!“

“I come here usually on the weekends because the food always tastes better in my opinion. And when I do I go for the western bacon and a side of onion rings. And what I said before the food is always better on the weekends specifically at night. I always get helped by Gustavo and he does a good job to make sure everything’s perfect. So thanks to him and the chef too in the back. I always try to recommend this spot to people in town because it’s one of my favorite fast food places! “Was excited to try this place as I love spicy chicken. Staff was okay but the service was a little slow when no one was really there. The cashier was probably high but he was still a little helpful. The presentation could be better as they basically just throw it on the tray and I do wish the chicken was juicier. If you are a fan of spice it is spicy but doesn’t have much special flavor to it like I’ve had at some places. The sauce is good but they didn’t have any ranch which was a bummer. Inside is small and awkward sitting arrangement. Cool are but the music choice could be better. Will come back if I have a craving.“

“Quaint little family restaurant tucked inside a small corner lot strip mall. Limited parking with lively community atmosphere. Friday night. When we arrived, there was a local DJ uplifting the area with some 80s, 90s and 2000s popular music in front of the smoothie shop a few doors down, which I loved. When we found the place (use your GPS because if you blink, you'll miss it.) When we entered the door to the restNext, we were greeted by the owners5 and our orders were taken immediately. Large portions served and we changed our minds from takeaway to dining inside the restaurant. We chatted more with the owners while our meals were being prepared. They presented us with our food at the table, along with ice for our beverages and offered fresh poured Duck Sauce (requested) and Soy sauce. The food was hot and delicious! The portions were big (lo mein noodles with shrimp, chicken And beef, fried rice, beef and Chinese vegetables and egg rolls) and the vegetables were even cooked just right, so all of the flavors popped nicely in your mouth. They offer a buffet-style lineup (pick 2/3/4 menu items plus Lomein noodles and fried rice) or made-to-order dishes. This will definitely become a weekly treat for us.“

“First time here. The Latino/American staff were very hospitable, informative and great. I the place was super clean. I got take out and decided to try their new Blackened Citrus fish bowl and oh boy! It was so delicious. Their salsas were so good and complimented my meal, well. “The woodland hills location (Avenue San Luis by the 101 in LA) - knocked itout of the park on service. Called ahead cause I was towing a trailer and couldn't hit up a drive through. Upon calling the location, the person that answered the phone was amazingly nice and helpful and told us we could come do curbside but when we got there the signs all said curbside was closed. We called back in to figure out if lobby was open and while we were told yes and parked to go inside, we were happily surprised when the same person that answered the phone, turned out to be the manager, carried our food to us in the car even though we had said we'd come inside! he recognized our car from the description I had provided before I even arrived and was courteous and I will definitely recommend this mcdonalds location to friends and family!“
