“The lunch special is a really good deal as the food is always hot and delicious. The long grain basmati rice is extremely soft and so delicious. The boneless chicken kabobs are super juicy and cooked to perfection. We also tried the ghormeh sabzi and the gheyme and they were both very good!!! one of my favorite hidden gems on the west side of the valley. The owner is very kind and sweet as the food is made with love.“

“Service is always slow and the servers are rude. It feels like you are bothering them when you ask for anything. A soda refill takes forever, unlimited salad refills are great in theory but you can never catch anyone to ask for a salad refill! When someone finally shows up, it's seems like they are doing you a favor instead of doing their job. We love the food here but don't come as often as we want to because for $175 meal we feel the service has to be better.“

“Had a great experience at The Kebab Shop! The manager, Juan, was super helpful and welcoming—great customer service makes all the difference. I ordered the grilled chicken bowl and it was fresh, flavorful, and cooked perfectly. The bathrooms were clean, which is always a plus in my book. The restaurant was empty when I came in and it took 23 minutes to get a chicken kebab plate. A bit too long to be the only customer.

The food is good. Not great, but not bad or bland either.

Price-wise it’s average. 24 dollars (included tax and tip) for a plate is not cheap but sadly has become the norm here in LA“

The moutabal is to die for, and the garlic sauce hits so good with the chicken. Speaking of which, the chicken is juicy and perfect. The filet mignon is so delicious too. Just tried the baklava and WOW, didn't expect it to be as delicious as it was. I was genuinely surprised. So happy to be a semi-regular now, this place rules. Give it a shot.“

“i love this restaurant! went here a week ago with the whole family and couldn't help coming back again 😋. all the food that we have had is excellent, such as beef qorma, land and chicken afghani plates (chicken is best personally), mantu, ashak, and of course the bolani. it all tasted home cooked and the lady that owns the place and operates it all by herself is very very nice, making me feel at home, as if she were my own grandma. i would highly recommend for afghani food lovers and people who have never had it before. afghani food is highly underrated, one of the best cuisines out there, i would encourage anyone living in or near the valley to try this place.“

Food was good. Panini steak sandwich was great. Overall happy with entire meal.
We did the family platters as well. Came out to about $25 a person with tips. Pretty good.“
