“We LOVE Alice’s. It is a tried and true establishment. If you want to hang with a complete cross section of Northern California, this is the place to be on the weekends. Locals ride horses and “park” the while they eat. Motorcycle cubs gather and eat. Tech bros and students come here. Local mountain folk and Stanford’s faculty hang here too.
The food is great and reliable. We love the homemade chips with all sandwiches and the beef chili on cold nights.
We love it best on a rainy day when there is no crowd and the cloud mist rolls through the dining area. They are definitely missing a cold weather chicken soup staple to go with these awesome cozy winter days, but they have coffee!“

“Highly recommend as a lunch place for a friend get-together. You can get good burgers, sides, and a glass of beer. There are 3 outdoor patio tables in the back, each can fit 10 people easily. The service was great, too.

The Double Deuce I got was good. Solid burger. But you may want to get an extra side like some tenders or fries (or both with the Roadside Loaded Fries) to be close to being full.“

“YUM!! This was a delicious meal. I had a spicy chicken sandwich and my husband had a burger, which he said was the best he’s had in a long time. I loved my chicken sandwich. Our fries were SO tasty! I couldn’t decide between the strawberry and chocolate shake and they were kind enough to give both to us. They were both PERFECT!! I liked chocolate better but the strawberry was still fantastic! Sam was really good behind the counter, and helped us to some amazing vegan options, such as the Vegan Sub with Meatballs marinara, and another Vegan Philly Steak Sub. Both just wow amazing with high quality vegan organic products (like the organic salad greens from Costco) and vegan meat and cheese from the Butchers Son. Absolutely wonderful!“

My Zosui soup was a bit delayed but a staff member gave us little ice cream puffs as an apology and it was very sweet. They were also kind and laughed when my husband and baby were playing games. “I stopped by the Shake Shack in Walnut Creek and had a really good experience. The ordering process was very quick, and everything came out faster than I expected, even though the restaurant had a decent amount of people. “We’ve been coming to this pizza place for years over several changes of ownership. But the last couple of times there’s been toppings missing! The first time it happened they took my order verbally and so I figured I would just use the app for the second time but again there was a topping missing. The second time it was frustrating because it was actually the protein on 1/2 of the pizza. I’m not really understanding why they can’t track all the toppings. Despite us liking the pizza and being very local test, I think we’re gonna venture out and try other places.“

“The burrito was okay. The good is the size — it’s pretty big. The bad part is the taste for me. The chicken had too much BBQ sauce and wasn’t fresh I think. I didn’t finish it because it was very mid. Nachos were good. I think if you are in between choices at that place, get something but burrito because my colleagues got other food and liked it more.“

“Well, one of the first at least the first one I've been to as far as restaurants that accept EBT. Loved all the ads and got the app for a free burger! Staff was very inviting and worked with me to save money which was what I was looking for. I choose this location because the other burger joint was over crowded. No one was here like the other time. I needed and got to enjoy some music with no one bothering me. Thanks! Having to budget my money with new changes in the economy the experience made it a success for me.“
