“My friend and I were looking for some local cafe prior to visiting the Nixon Museum. We ended up at the Friends Church - not knowing the cafe was inside. Soon after we had a warm fellowship and prayed together at the cafe. We thanked God for guiding us there.“

“We went here for a family breakfast while on vacation based on the other reviews and were not disappointed with the food at all! The chilaquiles great! Burritos are yummy and remain HOT, (be careful not to burn your tongue). Plus their special sauce is yummy and adds a kick! Veggie omelette and fresh fruit were also delicious. We have mixed reviews on the coffee (they do have a proper espresso machine) but overall it was definitely an enjoyable dining experience, especially since the staff were so friendly and attentive. We would recommend The Brunch Cafe for sure!“

“I came by on a hot day, and I was thirsty. The nice reviews from Yelp caught my eyes. I love the minimalist decoration in this coffee place. They are pet friendly as I saw pet owners bring their dogs in. I asked the barista for recommendation. The barista was very patient and knowledgeable about their coffee. She recommended the big island latte and collagen crush. The big island latter has macadamia nuts flavor to it. It reminds me about Hawaii. The name is the perfect match of this coffee. The collagen crush is a health choice. They also offered a big package for purchase that we can brew it ourselves at home.

Came by again in 2 weeks, and the coffee came o it as good as the first time! Great quality control! Will continue to stop by if I am in the area.“

“I had a great first experience here. I thought the portions are quite good for the price that you pay. First thing to mention is that this place is not that big. If you have 4 people then it should be easy to fit. The staff were nice and it seems like it is family owned.

The fish filet sandwich was really good! Just go for it! I enjoyed their curry as well, we got the pork katsu, I just wish that they had some of those red radish or green cucumber pickles, that would go quite well with the curry!

“Absolutely! Here's the updated version with Stopped by Hopper & Burr and tried the Cavendish — a chilled banana milk espresso made from scratch. So smooth, naturally sweet, and perfectly balanced. The almond milk ricotta toast with seasonal jam and fresh fruit was creamy, flavorful, and surprisingly filling. Staff was super nice, and the latte art was fire. Definitely coming back!“

I was told they also have a chipotle sauce, so I went with that instead. When I got home, OH MY GOSH!! Those were the best chilaquiles I’ve ever had with the Chipotle sauce. Miraloma Ave. Young lady at the order counter greeted us immediately & was very friendly. Interior spaces looked clean & tables were kept attended as the busy Saturday crowd turned over. My wife & I decided to share a Sandwich Sampler as our first visit meal. I'd read good reviews about their brisket, but I found it to be of average quality & maybe overcooked. The sausage was slightly better in flavor & juiciness, and the turkey was very good. Overall a satisfying meal experience, and I'd recommend Blake's Place if you were craving BBQ.“
