“The food was really good but the service was really bad. They somehow missed my dinner order even though I was the first in our party to order and then said they miss read it and put cold food on a very hot plate. They’re just lucky it tasted good, just not hot. Don’t expect the waitstaff to know what is on happy hour because what we ordered ended up not being and had to pay full price.“

“We stayed at the sonnenalp for a week and had the best experience visiting the King’s Club everyday. The drinks were amazing and everyday we received incredible service, especially from Virag who was extremely attentive and made us feel very welcome. We love it here and cant wait to come back!“

“Atmosphere is like a chalet feel of wood n stone. Food was fine. Sloppy Joe was good. Chicken noodle soup was good. Pricey for the sandwich type food but we are in Vail Colorado. Daughter liked the salad. It was fine , the server was friendly. It was great to try. We were passing through to Utah.“

“The bbq pizza was the best pizza I have ever had. The waiter was a little under par. He just wasn't as attentive to us as he was others. We ordered 2 beers he only brought one. And when we said we wanted 2. He had a attitude. But then apologized right before he brought the bill.“

“I had dinner here twice. If I'm in town again, I will definitely make my way here again. I had 2 different pizza and while both were delicious, the second one hit it out of the park. I asked if it could overcooked just ever so slightly and the chef did it to perfection.
A customer came in and started joking with me that my take home portion looked so good the he wanted them if I didn't Yeah, he was joking, but I've never had someone want my leftovers. It really was that good.
The pizza is Detroit, deep dish style. The tomato sauce tastes homemade with a zing you don't find in canned or jarred sauce and the Italian sausage was delicious.
One small pizza is good for 2 meals, at least for me.

“Nice blend of an upscale and casual environment. Appreciated the comfortable leather chairs. Menu has a blend of typical dishes like fillet with mashed potatoes and asparagus that was cooked to the requested temperature. They have a few creative items, but don't get way outside the box and have a couple vegetarian options too. Decent wine list. Service was excellent, and the manager stopped by more than once to check on how things were going. Overall, this was a very enjoyable dining experience, “

“I came to the Fireside Grill as part of package deal through the Nordic Center to go snowshoeing for several hours before capping the day off with a generous plate of wine and cheese AND dessert! The food was delicious and Lizzie took phenomenal care of me as I enjoyed my meal. Her kindness and attentiveness was much appreciated. I highly recommend this experience through the Nordic Center as well as the Fireside Grill for its excellent food and lovely staff.“
