“Casa Sanchez, a Bailey eatery we've heard good things about, was where we had Saturday supper. The last time we were in this building it was occupied by The Smiling Pig, a BBQ joint that was okay. Funny, the decor is still the same!
The service and the food were exceptional. The roasted tomatillo and avocado salsas were nice variations from the norm. Our wings were breaded, fried well and drenched in a delicious red chile sauce with strong black pepper flavor.
We shared a combo plate with a chicken chalupa, a crispy chile relleno and a pork tamale, all of which along with the sides were top notch. It was a wonderful meal with wonderful company.
Extra points: we left our to-go box on the table and our server ran out to the parking lot with it.“
