“The Charter Smash Burger was the only item recommended on the bar dinner menu. That is what we and everyone else in the bar ordered. The Hamburger was good. Cooked the way we asked for it to be prepared. The French Fries were perfect. Hand cut. Thin & Crisp.“

“This is our go-to neighborhood restaurant. There are other restaurants in the neighborhood, but this is our favorite. My husband always gets the filet. That tells you how much he likes it! Last night, I ventured from my regular choices and got the meatloaf! That was delicious. It was very lively during off-season on a Friday night.“

“My husband met the owner on the gondola one day and told us all about First Chair. We made it out for dinner and drinks with the kids a few days later. Chris served us and it was great meeting him as a fellow East coaster! We ordered almost all of the burritos on the menu and were not disappointed! The smash burger was easily my favorite. My dad would order the meatball burrito for every meal, I swear, with how much he enjoyed it as well as my 1 year old eating half of one herself. My son did work on the nachos they were so tasty! When we get back to Vail, we'll be sure to stop in! great staff and food!“

“My wife and I have been coming to this restaurant for many years. Every time we return to the Left Bank we remark that it's the best meal in the Valley. The staff is wonderfully attentive and so friendly, the atmosphere is one of fine dining, and the food is delicious, from appetizers to desserts. There is not a better French onion soup in town. Their seafood bouillabaisse, we feel, is the best entree in the Valley, and their dessert souffles are a true treat. Though on the high end of pricing, it is definitely worth it, and is still less expensive than other establishments in town we have dined at, though the food is better. If you haven't tried it, don't miss it.“

“Steven Teaver the owner was awesome! He opened up a little early to allow us Oregonians to check out Bad Kitty Lounge! Made us feel like long time friends! The oysters were from Virginia and while not as briney as I prefer, they were mostly fine (there was one that was less tasty than the other 11). The Cava was delicious as was the gluten-free clam chowder. The staff was friendly and attentive without being intrusive. A good seafood experience at 8k feet.“

The service was very friendly and attentive, but also well-paced for a more leisurely dinner.

The chef’s choice sashimi omakase was great and allowed for a nice range, including fish we hadn’t tried before. The wagyu was incredible, especially with the condiments/accoutrements that come with it.“

“We have this experience two summers as we had a new waiter the first time but same waiter this time. Our order took over an hr to get and the waiter came back after 45 min wait to tell us our 15 month child menu was not available. How could they not know when we ordered from children's menu. Unexceptionable! Then after over hr food came but one did not receive her smash burger. That is inexcusable! Waiter then came back to apologize. The manager was very polite and comp our meal. We actually liked the food we finally got which is sad. We will not try it again from two experiences the same.“
