“I have been coming to THIS specific Abo’s, no joke, since I was very young in elementary school, and I’m almost 30. This place is so… charming and welcoming, I can’t even begin to describe it. It’s just your typical hole-in-the-wall kinda joint. But the people and the food are what make it. The guy running this place is so nice, and his workers are just as kind. I MUCH prefer this Abo’s to the other one in Boulder — every time I try to do anything with them, I always have some kind of issue. Never had an issue here in all my years. I do miss all the old creepy masks on the wall though!!! (Only OGs will remember that. Apparently, the masks are all fine, they’re just with the original owner after he sold the place.) Dude chose a good new owner cause I never even noticed a difference minus the masks until I met the new owner. (Also some of the best arcade machines there got removed… and the ones that do remain very often eat your quarters. But they’re very easy to replace your quarter if this happens! That’s genuinely the only downside. I miss the arcade.)It’s some VERY authentic New York style pizza. It’s all I can eat now — it has actually tainted my perception of other pizzas in the same style.“
“We were visiting downtown and stopped in here and checked out then variety of places to choose from. We got the pork belly buns.They were very good and my Taiwanese friend said the peanut sauce was pretty authentic.The pork belly was the right amount of pork and fat. I usually don’t like the fat but this was just the right amount. The bun was also super delicious. It was prepared pretty quickly. I liked how you got a text when your food was ready.“
“We have loved Nick & Willy's for over 20 years. The Aegean and Santorini are solid favorites - piled high with fresh ingredients. No lie on the advertising there! Yea - it isn't cheap, but good food seldom is. It is worth it to have it freshly made by hand. We love the down to earth staff, always incredibly friendly. Still our favorite for great pizza. (I am a long time Boulder resident - not from SF by the way.)“
“The wings are good! They have a variety of flavors too. I recommend the wings combo meal. I also loveee people watching on the second floor when I dine in. Almost impossible to dine in after 7 PM though, they have limited seating. I would say for the price, they could be a little better, but if you’re ever craving wings at night on the hill, def a good place to check out, but it’s not the main wing place I’ll go to if I want wings just because the quantity and quality for the price isn’t worth it for me.Parking: You might have to park a block away, more if you don’t want to pay to park. Of course, this is all usually in the evening-night time.“

“The experience was amazing! The food was incredible. We had the fat cow, Philly, chicken tenders, single burger, fries, and deep fried Oreos. The amount of food is huge! The service was excellent and quick. The owner was very nice and helpful. We came here from out of state and I’m so glad we decided to eat here. This is definitely a place you need to add to your list of places to eat. You won’t regret it I promise.“
“Gwen and Laren made our first experience at Wing Shack Boulder a great one. Gwen was informative and Lauren came out of the kitchen to see if we liked our wings. We loved those two ladies as much as we loved the wings. I had garlic Parmesan and my hubby had something spicy (I can’t remember what sauce he had). We definitely will be coming back with our boys. Lauren and Gwen are excellent at customer service!“
