“As someone who eats out all over Boulder, this is my go to lunch spot and often dinner. The food is so clean I always feel amazing after eating. Great flavors. Great drinks. The service is good and the staff is very friendly. The owner is often around and you can tell the place runs smoothly and is very clean. When my visiting parents stayed at the adjacent hotel they literally ate here everyday.“

“I've been eating here since it opened. John and Abby are the kindest people you will ever meet, and their whole family is just lovely. the gluten free subs are safe for me here and consistently excellent. the customers really become friends of the family here, and that's not something you always get in Boulder. I can't recommend this spot enough. I'm proud to know this family and think the world of them.“

“Tried out Birdcall on Pearl Street and ordered two chicken sandwiches: the seasonal K-POP ($10.25) and their signature Rancher ($9.50).
The K-POP sandwich had a fun, fresh twist with Korean BBQ glaze, gochugaru spice, scallions, and kimchi coleslaw. It was definitely flavorful and crispy, but probably a one-time try for me—not something I'd go back for.
Now, the Rancher was the real winner. Loaded with crispy chicken, bacon onion jam, white cheddar, and their Bird-B-Q sauce, it was juicy, saucy, and hit all the right notes. It was so good it felt like a guilty pleasure worth repeating.
Both sandwiches were hot, steam-piping fresh, and delivered an impressive crunch. They're large enough that you really don’t need any sides like fries.
Birdcall operates on a self-service model. You order and pay at touchscreen kiosks, then pick up your food from the pickup counter. It’s quick, efficient, and keeps things simple.“

“I got the spicy vegan and it was outstanding. The workers were very polite and helpful. The atmosphere is very chill. I also tried the vegan ice cream sandwiches and are so yummy. I highly recommend this sandwich establishment. I would say it’s more of an upscale/unique sandwich. Delicious.“

“The pizza is pretty good, considering options in Denver. The service leaves much to be desired. The pizza arrived room temperature/cold and not even warm. On the phone manager was very apathetic and refused to make it right. He kept talking over me, even in person, and when I called him out on it he told me literally verbatim that I was a liar. Drove over to the store, returned the cold pizza and got a proper hot pizza with a side of attitude. For a $25 pizza, it should be received hot or replaced.“

“The coffee is good. But what's better is the sun when it hits their giant wall of a window. It's like that scene in Chronicles of Riddick when they escape from prison and the sun beam is coming towards them, scorching the planet. You gotta get your coffee and get outta there - ONE SPEED, MY SPEED - if you wanna survive.“

“Amazing food! Our first time and it was so good. The staff were friendly and patient as well, and though there was a line it moved quickly! I have quite a few dietary restrictions and I was able to get a ton on my bow. Highly recommend, and will be back.“

“I had the best experience today with Krystal at the new Boulder location!! She was super sweet and had a great attitude about the 50 million modifications I made to my wrap lol. Truly the most amazing team and my Japanese BBQ wrap was amazing per usual :)
Not to mention how cute and inviting the location itself is. 10/10 across the board!“

“Such a unique place! The Deli Rose sandwich was delicious as was the veggie bowl (more of a small container of pickled vegetables) and Immune Support herbal tea. The atmosphere reminded us of being in Bavaria with a hippie twist. The service was personable and friendly. Highly recommend.“

“The bread was so good! I had the rotisserie chicken sandwich. The chicken was good quality. My only complaint is that there was so little mayo on the sandwich that I actually thought that they forgot to put it on. The sandwich was super dry because of this. I know rotisserie (white meat) chicken is typically dry so I wouldn't count this against them. I would just ask for extra mayo next time. My order was to go and I didn't discover this problem until we had left.
I will definitely stop there again if I'm traveling through in the future. This is the type of "fast food" I love getting when traveling to a new area.“

“I've been ordering takeout Buddha bowls for several years. they're always delicious except for the last two times. they were still delicious but half of the vegetables were missing because apparently you guys have turned into cheapskates. if you want to take out half of something, make it the rice.“

“Checking in with a collection of my experiences -- all of which have been resoundingly positive. I especially enjoy some of the appetizers and the happy hour menu, with the Brussel Sprouts & Hummus (pictured) and Calamari coming to mind. For my taste it's the perfect balance between comfort food and upscale, you can tell the menu has been well thought out and that the food items are designed to be a little more interesting and tasty than cut-and-paste bar food, while at the same time the vibe isn't overly pretentious. I think there's something to be said for knowing your lane and not pretending to be something you're not -- and Ironwood Grill does that perfectly. I always feel welcomed, I always feel relaxed, and I never leave hungry. I spent my 50th birthday and myself and all my guests (of which there were many) were well attended to and taken care of. I will continue to be back again and again and feel great about supporting this locally run enterprise.“
