“Awesome place for some Sunday football watching or grabbing lunch during the week. First time here and will be back with my wife. Extremely friendly and attentive staff. This place is a sleeper in the Reunion area. Highly recommend! Great beer selection as well as cocktails. Sheena and Nick are awesome!!!

“we were in the area for a mini vacation (my sister and i). initially we were walking to the brunch nearby but as we were passing by, we changed our minds and went in. after seeing the cowboys game on, we sat down near the TV it was on. I asked if it was possible to change the TV behind my sister as well since we will be sitting across from one another. it was playing the Olympics races and nobody was watching (1 booth other than us and 4 people bar top). after it was changed, we ordered our food and drinks. a kitchen staff joked about the cowboys with friendly bantar before returning to the kitchen. shortly after, the general manager (I was unaware at the time) came from the kitchen and changed it again. I said excuse me several times to him and got 0 acknowledgement. the bartender shrugged his shoulders and looked away from me. I spoke to Anthony as there wasn't much time left on the game. Anthony attempted to talk to him and he said there were people watching the game. the game which was not put on until AFTER we requested the change. while I'm not one to sweat small stuff, I work in customer service and with 6 mins left on a preseason game, what's the harm? at least acknowledge me when I speak to you. let's come to an agreement. instead, I turned my chair around and waited to eat the appetizers sitting behind me on the table until the game was over (a whopping 4 mins) I don't get time to catch many games, was on vacation and wasn't being rude about it. i love sports and trust, I would've been stoked to catch the baseball game he changed it to AFTER the football game. and I would've been the only customer paying attention then too. so finally I was loud and thanked Anthony for his friendly demeanor and caring about his customers. I said it very loudly since I could not get acknowledgement when speaking politely and directly to him. what do ya know? now we hear me in the kitchen and have plenty to say. with music playing and food being prepared no less! I enjoyed the food. probably the best wings I've had in ages! the beer cheese soup was delicious. I enjoyed our waiter's customer care. without him, we would've walked out. food is top notch. caring about customers, not entirely priority. we don't visit often so it isn't a huge loss that we won't be returning because of one person. Definitely ask for Anthony if you do go!“

He told us, in no uncertain terms, that he really appreciated the fact we showed no anti-Asian hatred. I can’t even imagine as such. “I’m not one to review. I always forget but holy moly this place is amazing! The food is beyond amazing. I ordered the grilled kielbasa with sauerkraut and fried potatoes on one occasion, which was off the charts! The Bavarian pretzel yes I know it’s just a Bavarian pretzel, but not this one and not the cream cheese garlic dip it comes with holy Mary mother of God. It is amazing. I will never look at beer cheese, the same again after having this,.I hate to keep using that word, but it is nothing short of amazing!! then the burgers, the burgers are just seasoned perfectly and I just can’t stress how good this food is at this establishment if you’re ever off of Broadway and Maple stop in you will not be disappointed!!“

“Love this bar! Karaoke is great on Wednesdays and Saturdays! The food is great! Love the staff! This is a go to spot for my friends and I every weekend! It can get packed so get there early if you want a table! With the construction going on, the best parking you can get will be the parking lots behind the building on the south side or the lot on the east. Street parking was great here before the colfax construction.“

“What a hidden gem!! The food is so good - everything made from scratch (dill ranch and honey mustard are a MUST)! We ordered the Sunday app platter with the tenders, fried pickles, and tater tots. Everything was delicious. The staff is so kind and personable and the draft beers are excellent (apricot blonde is great for my fruity beer fans). Absolutely will be back!!“

I especially love going there on Thursday and Friday nights for karaoke and every other Tuesday for open Mic night! the staff is fabulous, drinks are fair-priced, enclosed patio, upfront parking for bikes. “I went to The Tavern on Blake Street for the first time today. It’s been a long time that I’ve been in this building since the other place shut down. I went at 10:30 AM and had the place to myself. I have to say, it’s great. I started with a Princess Yum Yum raspberry beer and I got the breakfast sandwich with veggies, eggs over easy. I really like spicy and they were able to make a sauce out of the Nashville hot dry rub. Delicious! Also, Jen was an absolutely fantastic server. 10/10“

“From the outside this place just looks like a cozy neighborhood bar but it’s a lot more than that. Much bigger than you would think on the inside but they also have a massive beer garden out back with lots of seating and even a stage area. Service was spot on and food was delicious and reasonably priced. They have food specials for every day of the week and a nice range of beers“

“I moved to Capitol Hill around two years ago and this place has been a staple watering hole of mine ever since I moved here - excellent vibes, excellent music choice (most of the time, lol), and really good service (though it can take a few minutes when it’s busy, as with any other place).

“I love singing Karaoke here! Friday and Saturday are such a fun vibe. During the weeknights, I find I get to have a couple more turns on the rotation, which is always nice! The new addition to PCL of the golf bay, darts, and beer pong area create an alternative environment for those that may not want to do karaoke. This is really great for my partner, who enjoys going to watch me sing, but also enjoys a more low key experience. On top of all of these amazing qualities, the service is outstanding! I watched the bartenders, servers, and the karaoke dj make everyone feel like they were at home and part of the PCL family. Oh, and don't sleep on the cheese curds- they are melt in your mouth good.“

“Dr. Proctor's is a great time, any time! There's a good mix of patrons. I feel like this bar is equally of older drinking age and younger. Give karaoke night a shot! There's a lot of great singers! Also there's plenty of pool tables to keep you busy while you're in rotation!“

“We stumbled upon this place with my wife just wanting to have dinner at a rooftop bar before we left Denver. Just our luck there was a Colorado Rockies game going on and vs the Chicago Cubs, so this place was packed, but we were able to get a seat pretty quickly on the roof. Service was really good even with it being packed. The food was great. No complaints we all enjoyed our meals. We ended up noticing that everyone there was a Chicago Cubs fan so we asked the waiter and he said they were the official Chicago Cubs bar of Denver Karma so it's crazy that we were there while the Cubs were in town. Made the atmosphere even more fun. The staff was super nice,matter of fact I had to leave to go get some aspirin for my daughter and the bouncer downstairs gave me great directions to find the 7-Eleven. Good size place they have a pretty large bar area downstairs and naturally the rooftop is pretty often to get a good view of Denver and you can see Coors field. Definitely would come back here especially if the Cubs were playing in town or on tv, probably on TV would be better because once the game started this place cleared out. In the really coolest thing is we ended up meeting the lead guitarist Chantry Johnson of The Cab, how cool is that! This is definitely a good hangout place! Highly recommend.“

“The only criticism I have is quit calling your appetizer jalapeno queso and guacamole! It is not queso! It is spicy or jalapeno pimento cheese. It is very good but most people will expect it to be served hot!“
