“Campo has the freshest food in Denver, hands down. I’m hooked, and my wallet isn’t thrilled about it. Every single thing I’ve ordered here exceeds my expectations. It’s fresh, healthy and delicious, and the two owners make you feel like family. Plus, the prices are very reasonable given the quality of the food. I recently called to ask if I could place an order and have them set it outside since I had COVID. One of the owners said he’d be more than happy to, but then mentioned they offer delivery. When my order arrived, it came with a sweet little note and an extra treat to boost my immune system. I can’t say enough good things about this place. Blue Magic with peanut butter instead of cashew butter is a must-try, or go for the caprese sandwich. And their avocado toast? Absolutely smothered in avocado and so, so good.“

“I got a lemon berry smoothie with coconut water instead of coconut milk and it was divine. I absolutely loved it and definitely be back to get another one.

The place itself is pretty austere: inside is just the smoothie bar, no chairs or bathroom. And outside is a couple benches. Nice thing is they bring you your smoothie to the window so you can wait outside“

“I ordered two açaí bowls online and quickly realized I made a mistake by selecting whey protein, which contains dairy, even though I chose soy milk for the base for a reason.. I’m allergic to dairy. I called the location right away, hoping they could swap out the whey for a dairy-free protein. The woman who answered (who I assumed was the owner based on her answering and saying she wasn’t currently at the store), said the bowls had already been made and suggested I just give them to a friend.

I completely own that the mistake was mine, I’m not asking for special treatment, just a little understanding. The interaction could’ve gone a long way if it was handled with any flexibility or empathy of the situation. I wasn’t expecting a refund, just hoping for a solution that wouldn’t waste food or leave someone with a known allergy without a safe option.

Instead, the tone and lack of care left me feeling dismissed. It’s a small moment, but one that reflects how much (or little) a business values its customers. I won’t be going back.“

“We placed a large order of mini açaí bowls for an event, and Playa Bowls absolutely nailed it. Everything was perfectly prepared, organized, and ready right on time. It was clear a lot of care went into the details, and the team even followed up afterward to make sure everything went smoothly.

“I recently tried the loaded veggie taco soup here and it was so flavorful, and hearty while still feeling fresh and healthy. I also grabbed a few of their snack items and a green juice.

Parking was a little tricky at first with lots of construction,, but I later found out they have a free parking lot in the back. Definitely a great spot for healthy food on the go!“

“I LOVE this Cafe! I used to frequent their other location next to the CU Denver Business school. This location is much larger with more menu options. I usually always get a matcha latte and a BLY Breakfast sandwich. Have never been disappointed. I only wish there where more outlets available.“
