This place has a lively atmosphere and huge plates. The portion size is awesome and the food is very delicious. I have been there several times. I’m surprised they don’t have more reviews on here, but I highly recommend it.
Too expensive for the taste of the food
Be sure to check your receipts!! Waitress never notified us of an automatic gratuity added even though we were only 4 people, and it didn’t really feel like the waitress wanted to serve us, sometimes walking off while I was still asking for something, the manager herself started attending us. Because of the unmentioned gratuity, the waitress would’ve earned double the tip that didn’t match the service at all.

El Paraiso Mexican Restaurant offers a lively dining experience with well-decorated interiors and a fun atmosphere. The restaurant features huge portion sizes, making it a great value for customers. While some dishes, like chicharrones in burritos, can be enjoyable when hot, they may become soggy when taken home. The menu is extensive, which can be overwhelming at times, and service may be slow. Some recipes, such as aguachiles rojo, might have changed, leading to disappointment for some. However, highlights like rice and the friendly staff contribute to a very good experience. Guests can enjoy chips and salsa, and although the enchilada sauce may not be the favorite for everyone, the overall quality of the food is praised, making it one of the best Mexican places in the city. Lovely music often plays during fútbol matches, enhancing the dining experience.
