Without a doubt, the best Mexican food, and best dining we've had from alaska to Mexico. Clean food, crisp veggies, great portions, expieranced and attentive waitstaff, child friendly, authentic and made to order food.
Came here to get the menudo, and it did not disappoint.I'm from Houston, and my gf is from Los Angeles. We both agree this is the best menudo we've ever eaten at a restaurant before.My gf is not use to being served toasted bread with soup, but that's how I know it was authentic.I just left full, and I'm regretting not ording another bowl to go for later.

Not only were there ample portions of extraordinarily delicious down-home Mexican cooking, this restaurant was quiet enough to hear one another speak. Everything was excellent, from the main entre (Combo #3 - chili relleno, cheese enchilada, and taco) right down to the side order of beans and rice. La Grande Mexicana is one of Denver's best kept culinary secrets for authentic Mexican cuisine at reasonable prices. We will definitely be back soon!
