We love Tamayo because of the food, service, location, and easy parking. It's a great place to go when you are doing other activities downtown, like going to a game at Ball Arena. We are vegetarians and they have enough options to make it worthwhile--and what they do have is excellent and interesting.
Sat brunch before DCPA performance. Small plates shared at the table. Opted for endless food - not endless drinks. Took them forever to make two cappuccinos - even tho it was brunch. All the savory options we chose were excellent EXCEPT the bacon. It was like salt sticks overcooked and powdery to the palate. Seriously, Tamayo - one of the most unctuous things to have at breakfast and versatile prep options - like baked with a little brown sugar and ancho powder until almost crisp....read full review

This is our favorite brunch spot when I come into town. The whole staff is so amazing and so nice. They accepted our reservation even when we were 18 minutes late. The service and the value for brunch is unbeatable. Can't say enough good things about this restaurant.
