“Last night we went here and it was awesome! We opted to do the equivalent of the chef‘s table, and let them decide what to bring, and when. It was absolutely amazing and delicious! Definitely creative. The drinks were phenomenal as well. Our favorites were the Hamachi, the off the menu salmon, tartare, the mushroom Ramen soup and the foie gras. ❤️“
“Point Easy has become a *go to* for a date night for me + my husband. A true neighborhood gem, the space is just the right vibe between upscale and casual (aka well designed w incredible lighting) + the menu rotates seasonally with a ton of options ranging from fun snacks + veggies to pastas + proteins. The staff is super knowledgeable + friendly. Looking forward to patio season here, too (with plenty of shade!). Highly recommend.“
“It is not often that the hype of a place lives up to the claims but Kawa Ni is one such place. You walk into a very vibey space with music, an open kitchen and a gong on the wall that they hit anytime anyone orders a beer with a sake shot. It honestly does a good job of transporting you at least a little bit to somewhere else. The cocktails were well balanced and fun, but not so fun and unique that you have to wonder what the heck they are trying to say is in each one. The menu is all supposed to be shareable, for the best experience I recommend going with a group of 4 or more. We got a smatterings of things from the hamachi, a 10/10 by the way, to the shaved broccoli which had such a unique sauce on it and was perfectly dressed, to the cold soba noodles. I want to give a moment to the peanut sauce on those soba noodles, because my god that sauce is a peanut lovers dream! I want it in a jar to put on every rice dish I eat moving forward! Very few things fell short of delicious expectations! Some things were more standout in flavor than others but nothing was abhorrent or made me turn up my nose. Some items I enjoyed but won't rave about, the matcha tiramisu, it was really good, but the way people rave about it you would expect it to be the kind of delicious that could end a long standing feud between scorned lovers, for me it was a decent dessert, but next time I will try something else. Also, The curry dish, I wanted more pow when it came to flavor. It was good, but curry can be so much more. The menu changes regularly which I love because it means I can have a different experience if I go from season to season. Kawa Ni will absolutely be on my short list when it comes to places I want to take people when they visit.“
“We came here because we were staying at an air bnb around the corner and oh my goodness the food is phenomenal. Val went above and beyond and made excellent recommendations for heat level and new foods to try. I highly recommend this place to anyone who’s in the area!“
“I had the Jiro Ramen and it was so good! It is a little pricy for ramen but every once in a while I would come to get! Very different atmosphere for what I would expect but it was still very nice and simple. There was so much flavor in the egg as well.“
“Some of the best Thai food I’ve ever had. We were welcomed in from the rain, directed to the warmest table, and provided with excellent service. The staff was knowledgeable about where their ingredients are from. The food was delicious, the portions generous, and the service was fantastic. If you want to feel welcomed as if you were family and eat some food that will touch your soul this is the place for you.“
“You will not be disappointed here! Everything was delicious! We ordered the chicken street rice, pork street soup, green curry and Kho Soi with fried chicken(my favorite). Food was authentic and the flavors were perfect. Had the mango mojito to drink and mango sticky rice for desert. The family loved everything!“
“The sushi was superb and the service very good. But the noise level made it not a very pleasant experience. After the music was turned off it was better. A close table of 8 were loud - with no sound dampening features their laughter and conversations were unpleasant.“
“Not sure if it's normal for smaller groups (I was in a large group) but they added an 18% non-negotiable Gratuity. I did not see that posted anywhere so that came as a surprise. The atmosphere was surprisingly authentic and fun, but the service left a little something to be desired. The food was pretty good.“
“Amazing food and great service! I was craving Szechuan food and this absolutely hit the spot. We ordered the homestyle eggplant and pork and it was incredible - felt like it was melting in your mouth. The spicy boiled fish was spicy and delicious. Will definitely be back!!“
“Wow. I was looking for a Pho place that opened early and found Tony Pho. I think the sign said they were open from 9-9. It's been a while since I was surprised by a new restaurant. The staff that greeted me were very nice and very attentive and I conversed with them a bit before ordering. Place wasn't busy but I had shown up fairly early. I really liked the menu, it had a lot of options, for pho, that some of the usual pho places I go closer to home didn't have. My waiter helped me pick out a drink I never had. I really likes the salty lemonade. It was amazing and I've never tasted anything like it. For me, they recommended it with soda water...which I believe was the right choice. Medium bowl, with added grilled chicken filled me up...I'm a big guy and felt like I needed a nap. Prices were about the same as other pho places around west Denver and east Golden. While I was thoroughly loving the food, I noticed the folks that came in - were all returning customers. Then, some guy walks in. He walked to the busy tables, obviously knew the people and checked in on them. I heard them call him Tony. Wow (again). What a super charisma and demeanor he had about him. The place was cheerful already but just lighted up even more when he showed up. I don't remember seeing anything like this in a restaurant before. I'm going back to this place for sure. Oh, and this may be one of the most random restaurant review notes ever, but I appreciate the WIDE parking spots. This is in a small strip mall but thankfully they didn't make each parking spot Prius wide. Parking could fill up and you may have to search around for a spot, but in their lot my brunch was complimented by the fact I didn't have a worry on a door ding issue.Parking: See review. During busy times you may need to search the nearby neighborhoods. But...it is worth it.“
“We’ve been here several times 4-5x and it’s delicious and HH is a great value. I’m 1st gen Vietnamese from Houston and this place is legit. Denver (8 years here) is a sad city for authentic Asian food with maybe exception for sushi. My favorite thing here, and there is no place in town that has it and so unique, is the crispy Saigon caramelized shrimp. The shrimp is fresh and has that snap and plumpness that fresh shrimp should have. It is in a sticky sweet sauce and the shrimp is thinly breaded and so crisp that even the shell is potato chip tasty. I come here just for that with the lemongrass rice. There’s a special dish the chef sent to us one night which was grilled shrimp on sugarcane, classic south Vietnamese dish and labor intensive. So damn good. Not on regular menu.NOTE: If you don’t do even mild spice, you need to ask wait staff for Denver spicy which is ZERO spicy for the larb, papaya salad and anything that has chilis in it. Always ask!! Can add more spice after and their house chili sauce is fantastic!!Ambiance is great and Bryce and his team including the chef are wonderful!! Highly recommend and I’ll see you on Monday at their all day HH!Their original location is in Seattle. Explains the freshness of their seafood.“
“THE BEST THAI FOOD IN DENVER!I have been coming here for years.I never ever had a bad experience with dining in or take out.My go to dishes are the Tom Kha, Papaya Salad, Pad Thai, and the Prik Pow Noodles. Also, remember choosing spice level is at your discretion (;Prince and his wife are amazing and I always love supporting local businesses!“
“We are regulars. Food has been good until this time. Last week we went in around 4pm, no other customers. We ordered the grilled chicken rice plate as usual. The rice was dry. Feels like sitting on the counter without covered for 20 mins. The chef gave us a bowl of broth that we didn't order and we never were served broth with the chicken rice plate. It seems he KNEW the rice was dry and wont taste good so he offer the broth for us to make it rice soup? It was disappointing because we went there once a month and he knew us but...that might be the last time to eat there.“
“The boneless fried chicken is amazing you can get either breast or thighs on the coating Or breading whatever you call it that in itself makes this fried chicken better than almost anyone else’s that’s boneless stays on has a serious crunch I think you just have to try it to understand how good it is.“
“They were very busy tonight and clearly do mainly take out.We ate in the lobby and despite the take out containers the woman working took the time to serve our meal like we were in a sit down restaurant. The papaya salad was amazing. The sauce was perfect. I wanted to pour it in a cup and take it home with us.The sauce on the chicken satay was amazing and the carrots were even cut to a pleasing shape. I know that's silly but when a dish is visually appealing it shows the care put into the food.My pad Thai was just the right amount of spice at medium and i like hot food.I'll definitely be back.“
“We went for happy hour and had a great time! We went downstairs to the bar and the service was awesome! Friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. We ordered sushi and it came out super quick and we ate it super quick. We'll definitely visit again!“
“So we Came here right before they started offering hotpot and like it, but not memorable a couple years ago. Then I for on tgis dumplings and hotpot kick a few months ago. Somce then weve come here 7 times twice a week. Once for just sumplings, but spent more than if we just got the ACE hotpot. So last 6 times I save my appetite and I indulge baby! Wow the sauce I make myself mixture is Alway amazong and I love my rice bowls I Make with my hotpot meat. I add a to. And I Mean Aaaalotmof garlic and sauce to my broth since I'm not a saimin noodle person. And love my rice and it doesnt affect my glucose, since it's my cultural food. I ordered the chili dimplings, soup dumplins, fried and ton of meay. And OMg that Chocolate cheesecake tasting mouuse cake is Freaken addictive after my salty tastebuds! I dont like much sweets or ice cream but the savory food with sweet yumminess to cool down the spicy hot sauce . I get tired of taking pics since yelp doesnt let me post, without writing a review and I don't like having a to. Of photos on phone, ao 8've been doing more google reviews since they are more up to date as where yelp sadly is going down hill and not up to date with new places. I figure still try to contribute, but googles more accurate. Yelp needs to up their game. Anyways Yummy is cheap, foods delicious, not many options but the ones they do, is Great! Great Fast service. On a addictive mode with this place !“
“The pho was delicious. The way you rate it would depend in your priorities. My pho kit was amazing. Lots of fresh delicious veggies. Good amount of tasty broth. Only lost a star because there was only about 2 ounces of chicken and it was dry and tough. The wings were good and the house sauce is tasty. Wings also come with scrumptious fresh veggies.“
“We enjoyed our lunch at Osaka Sushi, the quality food and ambiance was great. The staffs are helpful. They have a wide variety of sushi, rolls and all other Japanese foods. I would highly recommend this restaurant to everyone.Vegetarian options: Plenty of vegetarian choicesDietary restrictions: Vegetarian menu availableParking: No problem finding a parking spot in the lotKid-friendliness: Definitely kids friendly and they have kids menu tooWheelchair accessibility: Easy accessibility for people on wheelchairs“
“My coworkers put me on to this place because its right by our shop (Downing st). I absolutely love this place so much its some of the best food ive ever had and its extremely affordable, I can get 2 meals out of a $6.50 lunch combo its great. i ate here 3x withen 7 days its the best QUICK bite to eat in north denver. The portions are huge, The food is always quality and the service is fast. All under 10$. You couldnt ask for a better Lunch spot if im being honest“
“The crab Rangoons were really good and stuffed with crab meat and cheese. I had ordered the drunken noodles with chicken and with medium spice, and they were standard, good noodles. I also tried papaya salad for the first time and wished I had ordered much more, it was the only time a salad made my tastebuds start dancing. Service was good as well!“
“My three friend and I stopped by here before we go to ski in the mountain. We come from the airport. With some dumplings and noodles and fried rice.It gave us good fuel for The next days great skiing.Especially we were amazed by the light the winter light around this area. The town looks like a wonderland.“
“Went to the early seating at yumcha for valentines all you can eat dim sum. There was a total of 8 people and the service was very slow. No food was brought out until 4:30pm. Drinks were slow to come out and then we were served two dumplings at a time. With that said, the food was very good when we finally got something to eat.“
“I love this place! I've been here twice now, and the food has been great both times. So happy to have this restaurant around here! I have had the Drunken Noodles and the Basil Fried Rice, extra spicy - they were both delicious. This place brings the heat! They are also very aware and conscious of what to do if you say that you have a food allergy or an intolerance which is always appreciated“
“I’ve only ordered through Uber eats and typically even the best places screw up delivery food once in awhile but this place never misses. Their traditional pho with rare filet is the best I’ve had in Denver. Their shrimp spring rolls are amazing “
“Tried for the first time and the broth is a little sweet, but def still pretty good. Got the combo, and there was literally only one piece of tendon, so I'm not sure why they bothered with any tendon and all. Nice people though, and it's close to my work. Will absolutely try again and hope the proportions are more even next time.“
“I have personally been going here for over 10 years it has never not been one of my favorite foods. The staff are all very nice and generous they even remember my order ever time I go. The food some of the best I have experienced I personally get a noodle and brisket bowl and its one of if not my overall favorite food.“
“The ramen was very good, but the Chicken Karage was BEYOND DELICIOUS! The breading was so tasty, chicken was juicy and unexpectedly boneless. I highly recommend this place to anyone visiting the five point area of Denver. Parking was difficult but that’s pretty normal for this area especially on a Saturday.“
“I came in today with two friends for the first time and was pleasantly surprised at this spot on 16th Street Mall downtown! The layout was nice - you order and pay at the counter (there was no option to tip which blew my mind, didn't have to sign anything or hit 15%, 18%, or 20% while someone is staring at you), and the food came out pretty quickly (maybe 10 minutes tops). The lady at the front was nice - I said I'm not great with spice so she recommended the Miso Happy and getting the chili oil on the side. The heat was perfect for me and the pork was super tender. In my opinion the noodles were too al dente. The mushrooms in the broth were super flavorful! Will definitely come back here (but won't be in the frequent rotation because hey ramen is expensive). Very solid ramen and looking forward to trying other bowls.“
“This is my go to lunch spot, especially in winter. The ramen has always been consistently delicious. I did like the poke salads but then I got one where the lettuce tasted less than fresh so I switched to ramen. The healthy choice! Lol! Service has been ok. At times, the person who took my order was also cooking. So during the lunch rush it has gotten backed up. And this seems like the only place that gets consistent business in Mile Post Zero during lunch. Mile Post Zero - what can I say. That's the ambiance and, yeah, in winter it was like Santa barfed all over the place.“
“Excellent Ramen and Karaage. As with any other Ramen places I've been to everywhere (except Ramen Nagi), the egg wasn't prepared as "Ajitsuke" in a marinade but was just a normal soft-boiled egg... But other than that one nitpicked item, everything was excellent.“
“Went here for a business dinner in a group of six and I was floored by the experience. From the moment you walk in the door, the service is truly exceptional. Our server even marked up a menu to highlight what I could safely eat with my food allergies, which I thought was above and beyond. There seemed to be care put into every aspect of the dining experience. The food was incredible, with highlights being the pork belly bao buns, the tempura asparagus, and the soup dumplings. Absolutely worth the trip for this gem.“
“I adore this restaurant, the food, and the owners. This has to be my favorite restaurant in Denver. It is incredibly quick 10- 20 minutes max (I have yet to wait more than 20 minutes for pick up). My go-to is the veggie stir fry with tofu - I crave this in my sleep. I also really love their chicken dumplings, edamame, crab cheese wontons, Thai iced coffee, green tea and their Thai iced tea. They are also so close to Edgewater Marketplace, Sloans Lake and TARGET! Parking is never an issue and it would be a perfect spot to grab a bite with a friend and explore. I will be eating here until I die.“
