“After eating at soooo many high-priced restaurants around Estes Park, and pretty much loving every place we visited, but trying to eat at as many as possible before returning home, we hit this place the NIGHT before we left. Mostly because it was the only place still open and very close to where we were staying at Valhalla Resort. WHAT A HUGE MISTAKE!!! WE SHOULD HAVE BEEN EATING HERE ALL ALONG!!! The Elk Burgers melted in our mouths, the onion rings and mushrooms were spot on and plentiful, and the late-night service was polite and speedy!! Don't waste too much money eating at all the other places. Our only regret was not trying these guys first, as I doubt I would have eaten ANYWHERE else after dining here!! KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK!!!“

“Great little winery in Estes Park. My wife and I went there about 5 weeks ago on a Sunday, and even though they were short staffed and busy, the customer service was excellent, and we never felt neglected or ignored. The food is your standard winery charcuterie and cheese boards, with the exception of their wild game sausage board which offered very unique options.
Their wine, which most is made in their basement, comes from Colorado grapes and is surprisingly delicious. We really liked their wine menu where the employees offer descriptions of each wine, so you can compare and build your wine pallet at your pace.
Fast forward, we brought another couple there on 11/2/25, and they were impressed as much as we were with the selections, food and customer service. We have a much larger group coming into town next month, where we will be staying at an Airbnb a mile away, and we feel confident this won’t disappoint for the 12 of us. Highly recommend this winery when in Estes Park!“

“Mountain Home Cafe is my favorite for breakfast and lunch - always with great service - in Estes Park for many years. Fresh fruit and vegetables, and fresh hamburger, too, are served here. Biscuits and gravy is a crowd pleaser along with Alaska baked oatmeal, waffles, Swedish rollups, country fried steak, corn beef hash, and an assortment of breakfast combinations and skillet breakfasts. Not to mention Eggs Benedict :::: including California Benedict with avocado, and Mexican Benedict.“

“Amazing food, atmosphere and very attentive waiter. We had Amir as our waiter and he frequently checked on us. We sat outside and the ambiance was so peaceful. The food was fantastic and quick. We ordered the Colorado brisket nachos and RMO and never had anything better. The paradise punch and Old Fashioned hit the spot with our all day mountain adventures. We even met the owner Mr. Nelson. You have got to stop at this little piece of paradise. I promise you won’t be disappointed. A million stars is what we give Wapiti. Keep up the phenomenal work. Can’t wait to come back.“

“Okay, okay, this distillary was better than I anticipated. Being a goblin of, shall we say, a weaker booze calibur. I had reservations to even try anything in here.

I will admit, what first pulled me in was their sauces. Eventually had a small sample of their flavored whiskeys. And I have got to say, the burb from this place is a lot smoother than I imagined. Had the right amount of the said flavors, too. Not like others where someone whispers the fruit in your ear while taking a shot, you can actually taste the peach and apple.“

Drinks from Zac at the bar were not watered down like other establishments we visited here in Estes. They have a new manager who took the time to introduce herself and let us know she was there if we needed anything. Our server was Jessica, and She was very attentive. Staff: not a single staff member lacking a smile, not the standard painted on type, genuine gracious smiles. Food: I had simple, she has slightly more complex, both simply delightful. The difference is in the details for us. Syrup served in a decanter, not a 1 oz packet, butter packets in the dish were plentiful, pineapple mimosa served DIY as a bottle and simply the best seasoned pineapple sauce I have ever had. All others from this day forward will be judged against that one! Menu: An event in itself trying to narrow down what is getting ordered, this completely covers the full range of wishes! Sunday Estes breakfast is a simple but special event for us, we now have a new welcoming favorite place to go! We made reservations for the Thanksgiving Brunch the moment we got home from breakfast. This place came through for the win with being open later then other Estes businesses on a Saturday night. It's attached to the distillery which also had tasty post-hike digestifs!“

“They were busy and hustling that night, working real hard. Waitress was extremely over-the-top pleasant. Food very tasty. It's a nice little restaurant in our opinion for a hotel restaurant if you don't wanna leave the hotel and walk into Estes downtown.  Would like to see a few things on the menu, other than burgers, although the burgers were in addition to meat, trout, black bean, etc. so there were different type of burgers. But the appetizers were pretty cool so all in all we enjoyed our meal.“

“We visit whenever we make it to Estes. The staff are AMAZING! The burgers are good. The day we went it was busy but an amazing staff member was working through the busy line with a tablet to reduce wait time. My 7 year old got a shake and spilled it 5 minutes in. They remade the shake free of charge which was entirely unexpected and beyond appreciated. We will always go back.“

“I don’t normally write reviews but I wanted to make sure I let everyone know how much we enjoyed our dinner and how one of the employees went out of their way to make sure we made it home safely from Twin Owls. We got a Lyft to dinner so we could celebrate our anniversary and not worry about driving home after have a glass of champagne. Dinner was outstanding. The service was excellent. At the end of the evening we waited on Uber and Lyft to send a driver for over 30 minutes and kept getting a message that there were not any drivers available. It was 10 pm and 3 miles from our Airbnb so walking was out of the question. We asked the hostess if this had happened before and what she recommended doing and we were told it happens on occasion and one of the employees would be happy to get us home. I didn’t catch his name, but the gentleman that drove us was from Ukraine, extremely friendly and got us home safely. We gave him what cash we had on us to thank him for his help.“

“My brother and I stopped in last weekend to see if they allowed dogs on the patio (they do), but the patio had just closed for the season for service. Laura, the hostess, suggested that we could get takeout and eat outside if we wanted, and as it was a gorgeous, not-too-cold day, we took her up on it. She brought out our food and drinks just as we were getting up to pick them up ourselves, and she checked back on us a couple of times. WAYYYYYY beyond the call of her duty, and she was as nice as can be. AND she brought treats for the doggo! “The cheese board had great presentation and everything on it was delicious. My husband had the prime rib with mashed potatoes and broccolini and I had the burrata salad - I LOVED mine as well as the mashed potatoes. Husband said the prime rib was good but didn't care for the au jus that came with it - overall though he was VERY happy. Obviously everyone wants to sit at the bar for a drink but most people park there for quite a time so that's not possible - ideally they would have a one drink rule for the bar but it is what it is. Our server, Lev, was fantastic. Great personality and was very patient with my questions. Overall had a great experience and would definitely come back again if we come back to the area.“
