“Be aware they are now charging a “service charge”. It’s was not noted on the menu nor did the server inform us of the charge. The only reason I found out is I requested a printed receipt. The receipt recommended an additional tip be between 2-7% on top of the charge. Yet when I paid the machine prompted an additional 15 or 18% tip so I tipped 18 even tho our service was bad cuz I use to be a server. The unfortunate part is I didn’t look at the receipt for over a week after I visited. I’m very disappointed that I’m being charged a “service fee” and at no time was it ever brought to my attention that this is a new thing.“

“We went for a date night and couldn't have been more pleased! The staff was friendly and super knowledgeable. We opted for the walk with us option so the chefs could take the reigns and it did not disappoint. The wagyu was melt in your mouth, cod was delicious, pave, liver mousse, all such great complimentary flavors throughout the courses all the way to the end with the miso ice cream. Highly recommend when you want to splurge, great atmosphere, phenomenal food!“

“Always start with the good stuff. In general the food was very good. Almost as good as the service. If you want to be taken care of by pros, go here. The Som had the night off but the manager Chris knew his wines and did an outstanding job of helping me pair two great wines. with our meal. We did the small plate thing and it worked well. There were 7 of us and there was enough that everyone got something they loved. We shared the $135 steak and that was a great choice! The only very small glitch in the entire evening was the dessert menu was very simple so it shouldn't have taken almost 15 minutes to bring them to the table. Otherwise an excellent evening with good food, a well above average wine cellar and excellent service!“

“What a pleasant surprise! Forget the chain breakfast places down the street... GO HERE! I am vegetarian and my husband eats meat and they had a ton of great options for both of us. I got a breakfast burrito smothered with vegetarian green chili and it hit the spot. I have trouble finding green chili without meat and theirs was to die for. My husband loved his breakfast sandwich too. And my burrito was huge. Super friendly service. So very fast. We can't wait to come back! Imagine my surprise when I entered the wine bar at Satchel’s with a group of friends to be seated for a wedding luncheon that began with the first of seven tasting courses of food that was beautifully presented and absolutely delicious! Andrew, the chef/owner, is not only innovative with ingredients, but he and his staff really care about their customers’ pleasure and comfort. If I am ever able to return to the Denver area again, Satchel’s will be my first go-to destination. The luncheon was 1st class all the way.“

“We've only had hot beverages and pastries here. We visited last year and sat on the patio. Food and beverages are served in actual dishes, not paper or plastic, which was really nice. We enjoyed it so much that we sought it out for to-go drinks when we visited Denver again this year.“

Incredible sandwiches and market selections, plus extremely hospitable/welcoming crew. The wagyu steak sandwich and house made pickles were some of our favorite items. Everything was so fresh and flavorful. Can’t wait to come back on our next visit! Thanks yall for such a great experience!“

“Nice little restaurant, there’s a bar and giant TVs with sports playing but not so loud that you can’t have a nice family dinner. Appetizer of fried pickles and mozzarella sticks were really good, especially the tomato dipping sauce for the mozzarella sticks. Entrees were good (we had the burger and pork belly sandwich). Disappointing S’mores dessert. There’s a separate outdoor area that is pet friendly. They put a jug of fresh cold water in the table, you can buy the jugs filled with beer if you are a beer enthusiast, but wished they sold the jugs empty!“
