“I wanted to give this place a try since there aren’t very many Vietnamese restaurants near here (you’ll have to travel to feds). I was expecting more of traditional authentic Vietnamese food but unfortunately it fell short. I ordered Goi ga, and was disappointed that it was catered more towards their audience. This place doesn’t have the traditional bun Bo hue (pork hock, pork meat, etc) but a spicy beef soup - some reviews here mentioned BBH, yea no. Overall, we received great service from the staff and the food was very good, fresh ingredients were used but for my taste of authentic Vietnamese food, I’d have to say it fell short - which is why I gave a 4 star and will make the drive to federal in the future.“

“Although we would have preferred a quieter experience, it's a popular place so it's often crowded. We always appreciate the great service, and flexibility of orders when possible. It was a celebration, so 2 of our party got filet mignon, and were very pleased with that. I always like the fresh corn soup in summer, as well as the asparagus; I do find the marble potatoes to be much too salty for my taste, but they're perfectly cooked.“

My husband got the Fish Korma and enjoyed every bite. The Cheese Garlic Naan was also very good and all of the food was fresh. “If you are looking for one of the best chinese fast food places on Arapahoe and South Denver look no further. Honey Basil is a great spot tucked away in a small strip of restaurants right off of the I-25/Arapahoe exit heading east. The Szechuan chicken has actual Szechuan peppers Iykyk and the honey chicken is fantastic. One of the great things they offer is getting a veggie instead of a side of rice or noodles as your side. If you always choose Panada Express as your fast food chinese, you need to switch it up and try out Honey Basil, you can't go wrong!“

“I've been eating at this restaurant for many years and, believe it or not, I've never had a bad meal...ever. It is packed 7 days a week and there's a reason why. Beyond the great variety of food with breakfast all day (139 menu items {not including 29 drink}). the help is absolutely incredible. You can tell they love the manager, Carlos, because they function as one big family. I'm 72 and have eaten, through my career, in countless restaurants in numberous cities and for the money (quite reasonable) this is my #1 favorite of them all (including many 5 star, exclusive restaurants. You won't find Beef Wellington, Duck à l’Orange,, Lobster Thermidor, Seafood Paella, Foie Gras., or Caviar on their menu, however; Escargot if you love real scratch Mexican/American cooking“
