“An extraordinary meal where four of us basically ordered 90% of what was on the menu. It came out with a speed that was a bit overwhelming and we didn't know what to taste first. But the concept of all dishes being shared and apportioned to the number of guests at the table is already a huge plus: no agonizing over how to split orders - it's already been done. Highly recommend the Dragon Whiskers, Gai Lan, Pork Ribs, Duck Roll, Lamb noodles with neck, with sadly the expensive grilled bass being a pass: it was dry and lacked the anticipated flavor. The service was impeccable. Overall, a great night out!“

“The food and service was great! Had the general tso chicken and seafood tofu pot, it was very flavorful. You get a mini donut at the end of the meal which was a nice little touch. They do close for 1 hour from 3-4pm. Got here at 4pm and there was no wait. Will definitely be back!“

“Starting off the host was efficient and considerate in where to seat us. Our waiter was on top of it with refills and suggestions from the menu with expertise, Coban aka Coby deserves all the tips and kindness from people that visit. The owner was walking around talking to every single table and I was noticing everyone smiling during and after his visit to their table. The owner made it our table and shared a little about himself and created conversation comfortably and meaningfully. We will definitely be back.
We ordered the teriyaki chicken and orange chicken.“

“First of all, not a dine-in place. All delivery or carry-out, just a counter with a small busy kitchen behind it, older Asian men talking to each other as they cook it up back there, and cranking out only deliciousness for the last 40 years (Its on the site)!!
It's all good, truly, but I think their Pork fried rice is the best in town. Ask for it in the cardboard carton so it stays hot longer!!“

“10 stars 🌟 Incredible experience from start to finish. The staff is friendly and welcoming. Very warm and comfortable environment. Extremely clean and open feeling dining space. Truly a neighborhood restaurant that will always make you want to return for more. Singapore noodles were amazing. The staff really was the highlight of the meal. I felt like family at the table. Holly was very friendly.“

“I have lived in this area for 5 years now and kept trying different spots for chinese never really committing but this is my go to now. The food is always good, they give a lot of meat and dont just try to fill the dish out with vegetables. Flavors are good, my only complaint would be that the dishes listed as spicy have absolutely no spice at all and you certainly won't find a pepper so if you like spice ask them to amp it up. They do delivery themselves if you order off their website so you avoid all those 3rd party fees and the man who delivers is very nice. Highly recommend them.“

“Very clean. Very yummy! I would recommend anyone to check this amazingly yummy Chinese food place out! I will be coming back bringing my loved ones! They made the food fast, fresh and not greasy!
Parking: If the restaurant is not busy or the other surrounding, businesses are not busy, there should be about 2 spots out front which is facing the busy road and about 6 to 8 spots on the side of the building. Just tight parking spots.“

“Fantastic restaurant. Came here with a friend, just a quiet, unassuming restaurant on a Monday night.
The egg drop soup was delicious, rich in flavor with silky eggs. Prawns in lobster sauce had a wonderful flavor. Plenty of cashews (with an equal amount of celery) in the Cashew chicken. 10/10 for both dishes.“

“This is definitely a good Chinese scoop restaurant. The quality isn’t super like other Chinese restaurants but for the price and quantity it is ell worth and still taste pretty good. I wouldn’t mind coming here randomly here when I’m craving Chinese food just for a cheap meal.“

“Every so often when you are foodies like us and always on the lookout for great food, you find a gem. Rice Story is one of those rare finds that caters to the American palate with one side of the menu and when you turn that menu over, you can find authentic Chinese food. The couple that served us - she from Northern China, he from Chengdu, Sichuan province - were super friendly and we felt totally at ease.
The food we had was delicious - Happy Family, Hot pot, and grilled squid - and we had the agony to choose between many delectable choices.
We will be back for more very soon.“

“The food was good and the staff was friendly. Once we were seated, the food came out pretty quickly, which was nice.
The only downside was the wait to get a table. Even though the restaurant was about 70% empty when I arrived, it still took a while to be seated and the same thing happened to people who came in after me. I think the seating process could be a bit more efficient.
Overall, a good dining experience with room for improvement on the front-of-house flow.“

“The owners of Wokano must have sold their souls to someone because I had an otherworldly experience eating this food. Best sesame tofu I’ve ever had. Tofu spring rolls pretty standard but they’re massive and come with both peanut sauce and sweet chili sauce.
They were happy to make the sesame tofu gluten free and they also have lots of vegan options.
Living close to this place is soon to bleed me dry but I can’t even act like I’m not ecstatic about it. I love you Wokano Asian Bistro.“

“Incredible little place. Service was 10/10, but honestly there was no way they could upstage the dumplings or noodles. The sausage in the soup dumplings is MAGIC, and the Shanghai Beef Noodles might have changed my life. So simple, but best bite I’ve had in a LONG time.“

“We dined in, there are seats for about 10 people. It's mostly a to-go place. I got the king pow tofu. It was actually spicy, which I loved! My partner got the tropical shrimp fried rice and he loved it. The veggie egg rolls are some of the best I've ever had. The dinner portions were huge and we took half of it home. Definitely will be back.“

“Great value and great service, I have been visiting Dragon Boat for over twenty years and they have always been consistent with well made and tasty food, the picture shows some of the veggies but below the pork is a ample amount of pineapple too, this meal was less that $12 and included a wonton, egg roll and soup!“

“Was suggested by a peep i meet at a hot springs about 500 miles away. Smells fantastic in here!! There's gonna have to be several return trips. Based off of the smell alone. Love all the multi colored lanterns on the ceiling. Veronica was the hostess. Veronica is great. My waitress is also fantastic. My mocktail also fantastic. I ordered a cink it. The ladies next to me ordered Cheech and Chongs. Erica and Billy are spectacular. It's new years eve. Can't wait till my food gets here. Oh man! Speak of the devel!! I ordered La Zi Ji chicken and Lou Song Tang. Holy amazballs! Both of these items make me tingle with unadulterated glee? I say good show. My mouth is experiencing things and feelings it never has before. Lol what fun. Touche Ginger Pig! We shall meet again....“

“Great experience. Our party of five showed up after 8:00 p.m. after landing at the Denver airport. A lot of times, it seems like service and food quality isn't good that late in the evening but that wasn't the case here. The food was hot and fresh and the service was excellent. If you land at the Denver Airport and are looking for a good meal after 8:00 p.m., this is the spot!“

“OMG 1st time ordering here and I wish I knew the portions were so generous! I could have ordered less. Egg drop soup was the best I have had since leaving NY! I had sesame chicken husband had general tos! We ordered lo mein extra as hubby doesn't care for rice. Everything was more than 5 stars except the wom tons. They are good but not as good as we are used to. Will definitely tell others to try here and will definitely order again. I'd give 8 stars if I could for the value of this meal. Delicious big portions and very hot on delivery.“

“This is the best place for Chinese in the Denver metro from a cost to quality ratio, hands down. It honestly always has been but sometime in the last year or two the food got even better! That never happens. Portions are generous and quality went up. I think the spicy dishes could be hotter but otherwise I have no complaints. The staff are always friendly.“

“Grabbed Zume in desperation on my way home from the airport. What a hidden gem! The chicken satay was unbelievably good and the portions were large. Additionally I asked the server to surprise me with a dish and she served the Singapore Curry noodles with chicken OMG so good. They were light, airy but full of flavor. Definitely going to stop by every time I get Costco gas or am on the way back from the airport at lunch or dinner. Also staff was so friendly. Wish I had photos but I scarfed my food down“

“We greatly enjoyed Hong Kong Cafe. We had never been there and we found it on line and noticed that they had very good reviews. We had a great meal for 13 people. The service was courteous, fast and excellent and the food portions generous and delicious. I only wish we lived closer so we could visit more often.“

“Absolutely amazing homemade Chinese spot tucked near 38th & Ames in Denver. You can taste the care in the cooking, and the restaurant itself was clean and well-kept, which always makes the experience even better.
I ordered the jalapeño shrimp, jalapeño chicken, and fried rice, and every dish delivered on large portions. The jalapeño shrimp was the standout — perfectly battered, light, salty, and airy. The shrimp itself was tender and juicy, not dry or overcooked at all. The jalapeños had a beautiful char and brought just the right amount of heat — spicy, smoky, and addicting.
The jalapeño chicken was packed with flavor. It wasn’t overly dry; slightly chewy in spots but still very satisfying and well-seasoned. Paired with the fried rice, everything came together really nicely.
If you’re looking for bold flavors, real spice, and that comforting homemade Chinese food feel, this place is absolutely worth stopping by.🍤🔥🥢“

“Me and my partner saw Nagoya and ALMOST went to Starbucks. So glad we didn’t! We both got beef and broccoli and ate inside, the lady who manages everything was super nice, quick, and it was a lot of food for the price.
You could 100% tell everything was fresh, just made, and HOT!
Go here if you get the chance! Basic, to the point, and has a very light atmosphere to just eat and relax and the taste was amazing!
We are really happy we found this place.“

“I stopped by Happy Café Express for lunch today and was surprised to find the restaurant has completely changed its menu. The owner has moved the old menu to a new spot called Harbor Dim Sum & Cuisine on Alameda Avenue. While the location and offerings have shifted, it’s still under the same ownership, now focusing on using a spoon to scoop classic American-style Chinese food.
My wife and I ordered a spread that included chicken, beef, shrimp, and even a whole fried fish. Each dish was flavorful, satisfying, and served at a very affordable price. It felt like the kind of hearty, familiar comfort food you expect from a traditional Americanized Chinese restaurant.
One highlight was seeing JoJo, the longtime waitress, still working full-time. Her friendly presence adds continuity and warmth to the dining experience.
If you or your friends enjoy the nostalgic flavors of American Chinese cuisine—think generous portions, approachable dishes, and a welcoming atmosphere—I recommend giving Happy Café Express a try. It’s a reliable spot for a casual meal that won’t break the bank.“

“Food was pretty good though a little expensive. I really enjoyed the BBQ pork bun and the fried pork bun. I wasn't a fan of the soup dumplings but I think that is due to the soup base and cilantro. Also tried the hand pulled noodles and those were pretty tasty.“
