“I’ve been coming to Garbanzo for years, and it’s hands down my favorite Mediterranean spot. Their pita is the best—fluffy, fresh-baked, and far superior to the super-flat pitas you get at places like Cava. I also love that they mix up all the ingredients before stuffing the pita, so every bite is flavorful and balanced. The food is consistently fresh, with great quality for a quick, build-your-meal style restaurant.

The service is always excellent—staff are warm, hospitable, and genuinely kind. A smile and a little courtesy go a long way, and it’s something I really appreciate here. The dining area itself is simple and clean with nice decorative touches, though I’ll admit the booths could use a little extra cushion for comfort.

“If you're in Denver or visiting to Denver, and craving authentic Turkish food, Pizza Pide is the place to go. The lahmacun has that perfectly crispy, thin crust just like back in Turkey, and the pide is equally authentic in flavor. Hands down the best spot in Denver for both.

They also make künefe, the simit is excellent, and the chef puts out a large Ottoman-style pizza that's reminiscent of a classic margherita — really delicious.

One thing to keep in mind: everything here is made from scratch, not prepped from store-bought ingredients. So yes, there's a wait — but it is absolutely worth it. You're getting real, homemade food cooked with care, and you can taste the difference.“

“We went to Shondiz last night for dinner and it was excellent. We were served barley soup (ashe joh) when we first got there and it was the best I ever had. I ordered mast-o-mousir to start and it did not disappoint. My husband ordered zereskh polo with chicken and I had the juheh kebab. Both meals were great. The owner Mohammed came out to talk to us and he was really friendly. We will definitely be back!“

Love at first sip on the yogurt drink which is not like other places where they thin it out with water; it’s so full of flavor and has the right balance of sourness and saltiness. Love at first bite with the kofta beef and chicken which just melt in your mouth! The baba ganoush is made in heaven with its creaminess! The rice has so much flavor as well. “Interesting concept restaurant - I’d describe it as Chipotle but Mediterranean food. There are some ‘curated’ bowls and salads if you don’t want to pick your own meat/veggies and accomplishments to make a pita sandwich or bowl. Nice selection of different drinks including a cucumber mint that was really tasty add to the nice strong plain ice tea. About $20 though for a salad bowl and drink. Lots of options, many vegetarian. I like that there were lentils as well as rice for a starch and the sauces and toppings were fresh and good. Pita chips were extra- it would be nice if one or two were provided for salads. It’s very busy starting at about 11:30 and it’s not many tables. Most people seem to do take out.“
