“After checking out Rocky Mountain National Park, we decided to try Grand Lake’s Pizza. I called in for pickup but forgot to ask about the prices beforehand (rookie mistake). We ordered a Supreme and a Hawaiian. Before I even looked at the receipt, I wanted to guess what they cost… and let’s just say the price left me stunned.

Now, don’t get me wrong—the pizzas were probably some of the best I’ve ever had. The crust tasted fresh, the toppings were flavorful, and the cheese was generously layered. Even the sauce stood out—rich, tangy, and clearly made with care. The pepperoni and ham were nothing like what you get at chain places; they weren’t greasy or overly salty. And surprisingly, the pizzas themselves weren’t oily at all.
So here I am, going back and forth in my head: yes, the pizzas were incredible, but the price made us feel a bit scammed—especially being from out of town. At the same time, part of me keeps justifying it because the quality really was that good.

In short: hands down the best pizza we’ve ever had… but also the most expensive.“

“We had the House Salad (enough for four people). The Big Buffalo and Greek pizza. Both were exceptional. Highly recommend. Live music was too loud. Could not hear to talk. Ears were ringing. The musician had a good voice but could have turned down amplifier. Music would have been better.
