“After checking out Rocky Mountain National Park, we decided to try Grand Lake’s Pizza. I called in for pickup but forgot to ask about the prices beforehand (rookie mistake). We ordered a Supreme and a Hawaiian. Before I even looked at the receipt, I wanted to guess what they cost… and let’s just say the price left me stunned.
Now, don’t get me wrong—the pizzas were probably some of the best I’ve ever had. The crust tasted fresh, the toppings were flavorful, and the cheese was generously layered. Even the sauce stood out—rich, tangy, and clearly made with care. The pepperoni and ham were nothing like what you get at chain places; they weren’t greasy or overly salty. And surprisingly, the pizzas themselves weren’t oily at all.
So here I am, going back and forth in my head: yes, the pizzas were incredible, but the price made us feel a bit scammed—especially being from out of town. At the same time, part of me keeps justifying it because the quality really was that good.
In short: hands down the best pizza we’ve ever had… but also the most expensive.“

“I have to say, I was a bit disappointed by the food (but we do come from NY), but the atmosphere was great, and our server was amazing. Lisa served a packed dining room, was the hostess, the bartender, bussed the tables, and assisted in the kitchen. Whatever the WB is paying her, they should double it.“

“Traditional Italian style wood fired pizza in Grand Lake, Colorado! We loved the Firefly special, the Margarita, the Carnivore, and the Funghi pizzas we ordered. The gelato was also authentic and a refreshing treat for dessert! Owner Mark Consiglio makes the dough fresh in house and his lovely wife and children work in the restaurant! This is a truly special place-don’t miss out on your next trip to Grand Lake!!“
