“Two long time friends and I had a yummy Christmas-time lunch here yesterday. Two of the 3 us have been coming to El Pueblito for many years, driving down from Estes Park. Chips/Salsa very good, large portions. I ordered the wonderful burrito that has added bell pepper and onion, ground beef, green chile, with El Pueblito's special light-and-flavorful cheese sauce over all. Minus the flour tortilla due to gluten intolerance. Friends really liked their food, too. This is a restaurant that has put a lot of thought and skill into making delicious Mexican food. Recommended El Pueblito to waitress at another Mexican restaurant in Denver. She asked for directions and wants to visit. So glad our other friend got to try your restaurant, too. “Had never been here. Stopped by and had the Chili Rellenos and they were pretty good. Only negatives would be that the restaurant is pretty new and the table we sat at was super wobbly and not easy to eat at. Also the door and handle going into the restaurant was pretty gross.“

“Came in at 7 pm after a 12 hour shift because I was hungry and curious. Was served an absolutely massive al pastor chimichanga and about a half gallon of homemade horchata. The chimichanga was delicious. I don't think I've ever had one so good before. The service was great, very friendly workers. The lobby was empty save for me so the cook came back and chatted with me for a bit, that was nice. Super fair price for what you get. Highly recommend“

“Honestly considering naming my next two kids Sweet Pork and Creamy Habanero. This place is unreal. No fuss, friendly staff (surprising for what is likely one of the youngest workforces in town) and a clean dining area. Granted, we always come before dinner rush hits, but it's still an awesome experience every time we visit.“

“I absolutely love to go here on the weekends, their tacos are very affordable and the guys are professional. The line gets long though so you just got to find the right timing unless you're willing to wait. It's outside so it can be a cold wait.“

I spoke with Enrique and he managed to order it and we were able to get it the next day, he was really nice and called me when it was ready to pick up. When I went to the store the man that gave me the order was also super nice. I would definitely recommend this place 🙂“

Both my custom burrito and my girlfriend's tacos were perfect, which really makes a difference. The food was fresh, delicious, and exactly what we were craving. That legendary queso was, as expected, the star of the show. Seriously great experience—this location clearly cares about getting their orders right. We are very happy customers!“

“Good place for a quick snack, only thing I had an issue was, after I was done I was sitting at the table nearest the window you guys have a fire extinguisher on the wall right above the corner chair so after I got up the corner of the extinguisher hit my shoulder blade and still hurts this morning. I feel like this should be moved elsewhere that way your costumers don't accidentally get injured in the future it's easy to forget about when someone is ready to leave.“

“I just wanted to thank the associates working tonight for treating me and my kids so humanizing tonight. I went by with only 5 bucks and needed to feed my kids. I didn’t expect to get anything for me. I told the gentleman in the microphone if there is anything I could get to feed my two kids with 5 bucks he gave me the option of the 5 dollar deal with a taco, burrito, potatoes and a drink. I was like yes score that’s perfect! When I drive up to the window he offered to split the drink into two cups since I had two kids, he was so thoughtful to ask if I have picky eaters that don’t like onions in their burrito lol and indeed they don’t. When I got to my destination I opened the bag and they put extra food. Wow thank you. What he didn’t know is that I was in a pinch of time as I was on my way to my 12 step meeting. You helped feed a family, and helped me stay sober tonight! Thank you taco John’s for being a support to your community. For caring about my family. God bless you.“
