“Whenever I’m in Gunnison, I enjoy eating at Garlic Mike’s. I was excited to have my 75th birthday dinner there on January 5, 2025. The cream of mushroom soup and flatiron steak were very good, however the Alfredo sauce was thin and tasteless. We weren’t offered freshly grated Parmesan cheese which is standard for an Italian restaurant! I was disappointed there was no free offer of a birthday dessert or just a scoop of ice cream. They were aware it was my birthday! Also the two young men in the kitchen had a rather loud conversation about a sexual predator that could be heard in the dining area!! So my visit there did not meet my expectations, but I’ll probably dine there during future visits”

“Free Range bowl (chicken, greens, black bean) was very good, with fresh and healthy ingredients. Nice to find a healthy alternative while traveling. Young lady running the shop was civil and courteous to this senior citizen ✌️.”

“Exactly the type of place we were looking for after putting a couple hundred miles on the motorcycles today. If you're looking for a dive bar in Gunnison, go no further. Touchtunes jukebox, Harley Davidson pinball, pacman-galaga machine, some old machine that looked like air hockey and fooseball combined. Some locals were celebrating after a wake, and told us the old man behind the bar owned the joint. A couple other locals came in to play some pool.”

“Most Starbucks that are located inside grocery stores don’t seem to have a good selection of merchandise. Driving through the other day, I de died to stop in and check it out..definitely well stocked and a perfect variety..especially for any Starbucks Collector.”

“Cafe Silvestre is one of the best restaurants in Gunnison. Each meal is made to order and cooked when ordered. The ingredients are fresh and the meal temperature is always hot. The service and atmosphere is friendly, courteous and knowledgeable of the menu selections.

Parking: Parking spots are on the side and in the rear of the restaurant.

Wheelchair accessibility: There is at least one handicap parking spot.”

“Great food with local sourced ingredients. The beet and goat cheese salad was delicious and the pizza was amazing. We had the Garden of the Gods pizza. It was loaded with delicious veggies. The service was fast and friendly.”
