“I find it really hard in Denver Aurora area to find decent barbecue and this place is probably one of the best I've ever had. their collard greens are like old school made right properly seasoned drank that pot liquor like it was mother's milk. Mac and cheese hitting all the right notes with the cheesiness the creaminess Etc. the brisket you don't even need a knife you can pull it apart with your fingers and it's absolutely decadent juicy and not overly smoked! they make a smoked turkey that is just amazingly moist, ribs are fall off the bone decadent perfect smoke on those as well. this place is 100% #fatkidapproved they have the the old school ethic of if you wouldn't eat it youself then don't serve it. absolutely five stars fire!“

“We love the Cheddar Scratch Kitchen. Bree was our server and she is always the best. She takes care of our table and is so kind and great to us. It was my daughter's birthday and we chose Cheddar's to celebrate her birthday because we know they have the complimentary chocolate dessert for your birthday!! We also decided to sit in the bar area. Great Service from Angela as well. She is very attentive. Great selection on food and great discounts for seniors 60 plus. We will be going back more often.“

“The a/C barely worked I should have went with that and left. I ordered a turkey burger. It tasted like a freezer burned patty, not like the thick hand made patties they use to serve. The bun probably 3 days old. The fries were good as was the waitress. I won't go again. They obviously have cut the quality WAY down.“

“I got a recommendation from a volunteer from the Western Stock Show. The saloon itself has been an establishment for some time in Denver and the food did not disappoint. I enjoyed the chicken breast and chili. An authentic saloon adjacent to the stockyard. Hopefully it is still open for you“

“This restaurant is an absolute must!! I got their Pesto Pizza and Tomato Soup! I would 100% get their pizza again but the soup I would pass on I was hoping to try the mushroom broth but it was out of season. The soup is good but heavy and spicy which I’m not a fan of. The pizza and ranch combo though 11/10 wow so good!! Get the pesto pizza! I wish they did a half Caesar I would’ve done that instead of the soup but paying 18 for a salad didn’t seem like a good expense lol!“

However, don't expect a hidden gem of homedown cooking. The food is made well but it very basic and unseasoned. So it is a good choice for a simple fast breakfast or a group of picky eater.“

The buns of the brisket sandwich were a bit dried out. Otherwise both meals were pretty good, and the fries were especially good. Bring your own drink so you don't get robbed.“

They didn't charge a fee for the space, they had several options for food, and they had everything set up and ready to go by time our party started. The new addition to PCL of the golf bay, darts, and beer pong area create an alternative environment for those that may not want to do karaoke. This is really great for my partner, who enjoys going to watch me sing, but also enjoys a more low key experience. On top of all of these amazing qualities, the service is outstanding! I watched the bartenders, servers, and the karaoke dj make everyone feel like they were at home and part of the PCL family. Oh, and don't sleep on the cheese curds- they are melt in your mouth good.“

“I planned an 80th birthday party for my husband at GVR Beer Garden with the help of Soleil, the Manager and Josiah, the Regional Manager. I was so impressed and grateful for their "can do" attitude and for how easy they made it to plan the set up, food and drinks options for our nearly 60 guests. On the day of the party, Matt, the Events Manager greeted us and was at hand to support all of our efforts to prepare the space with decorations, balloons and to set up a slide show on their mounted TV. The buffet table was beautifully set; the food was truly awesome, and just kept coming throughout the evening. Matt arranged for our guests to have drink tickets so our Birthday Boy could "buy the first round". Matt stayed nearby and came to check in on me and the party numerous times. His easy-going, friendly and FLEXIBLE demeanor went a long way to helping me "host" and have fun, knowing he had it all under control. Thank you, GVR Beer Garden. Your managers and staff are AWESOME. We all had a wonderful time thanks to them.“
