The oysters, clam chowder, trout dip, lobster rolls, key lime pie and olive oil cake were all outstanding! Merritt, our waitress, was fantastic! They were super busy, but she nailed it! They were set up so that my kids were welcome and I didn’t feel self conscious that they were interrupting other guests. We will be back without the kids to sit at the bar. “I love this place. Amazing, friendly, + attentive staff, delicious tacos, yummy drinks. The atmosphere is usually a 5/5, but this summer, there have been A/C issues and they have been using a mobile swamp cooler. It's great on milder days (temps < 90). But with temps consistently in the 90s-100s this summer, the swamp cooler has struggled to keep things comfortable. Hoping the owner invests in repairing the HVAC soon.“

“So, a mixed review here. I was very impressed with the food! The flavor was on point, and you could tell they used more of a Texas flavor profile. I ordered a Steak, egg and cheese burrito. It was actually really good, 2 of them filled me up just fine. I did not care for their chips or salsa, the salsa was really watered down, and the chips were a little salty for my taste. I am going to echo what others have said, it took me about 10 minutes or so to get my food, I think they cook everything to order here, because I was not the only one who was waiting for thier food for a while. I did like their breakfast options, and honestly, if time would allow, I would not hesitate in ordering from the Rusty Taco again. I did like their flavor profile, just took a while to get the food I ordered. I recommend ordering your food first, then fill up your vehicle, so you are efficient with your time :)“

“This is the kind of place you accidentally find and then wish you had back home. 🌮 A little food truck with big flavor! The tripa tacos were the highlight of my day!! I loved them so much I literally turned back and ordered 2 more. The brisket was tender, the steak and al pastor were bursting with flavor, and the tortillas were perfectly smothered in grasita for that authentic street taco experience. The green salsa was fresh and flavorful, while the red brought the heat. If you’re in Littleton, do yourself a favor and stop here. You won’t regret it!!“

“This is a very humble and unassuming little store front eatery. Please do not forego for this reason. Once you step inside you will be greeted by a lovely couple of ladies. One of them an elder lady who is so loving and so happy and excited you are there. I highly recommend the traditional breakfast with two eggs, refried black beans, cheese and sour cream to complement the fried plantains. This takes me to my childhood instantaneously. Eating here feels like eating at my grandmother's home sitting at a table in the kitchen, very nostalgic for me. These ladies are amazing hosts and love what they do. Stop by and tell them Jorge sent you and enjoy!“

“First off, their queso fundido is amazing! The flavors were so savory and the portion was perfect!

I had their queso birria, and the meat was extremely tender, and the consomme was some of the best I've had in the Denver area! Will be back!“

The taco was pretty much perfect- hot, the veggies crisp while still being cooked thoroughly and just enough sauce to have everything wet without the tortilla breaking. “Stopped in for a breakfast burrito with my husband. We ended up trying that and a few other items. The breakfast burritos were amazing. Perfectly crisp bacon and ratio of fillings. Plus a house made tortilla was just the icing on the cake. Next we tried the quesabirria taco. Hands down best thing I’ve eaten in a while. Last thing we had was the churros. I got a dulce de leche filling and my husband got just regular churros. They were both so delicious and freshly made. Everything was just so delicious we will definitely be back again.“

The manager used to serve me in the morning all the time before he was the manager. Each morning I would come in a little before 6. Each time he would be cooking bacon. Between me and bacon he was always able to get me out before the bacon.“
