The moment we walked in, we were warmly greeted and seated promptly on their lovely patio overlooking the golf course—a serene and relaxing atmosphere perfect for a weekend brunch. Our server was incredibly attentive without being intrusive, ensuring our coffee cups were never empty and checking in just the right amount. The breakfast menu offered a great variety, and I opted for the Denver omelet, which was packed with fresh ingredients and perfectly cooked. My partner tried the pancakes, which were light, fluffy, and served with a rich maple syrup that tied everything together beautifully. To top it off, the complimentary mimosa was a delightful bonus that elevated the experience. “The hotel is clean, has great amenities, great breakfast, an outstanding pool, beautiful outdoor courtyard, and is conveniently located and surrounded by great restaurants, and the staff were all exceptional! Tammie at the front desk was always so helpful and nice and the gentleman, who had actually just started working at the café, was so nice and had outstanding customer service. The beds were comfortable, and the rooms, especially the one with the balcony, were so warm and inviting! We highly recommend this hotel, and would definitely return.“

“My wife and I stopped in after hearing about this place and our experience was exceptional. Our server Kiersey (not sure how to spell her name) was fantastic. She knew the food and beers well and gave us solid direction on items, as well as was patient with our questions. Both of us loved our food! The club burger was top notch and my wife loved her fish tacos. Beer selection is good too. Cool fun ambiance with tv's and a patio. We own a brewery/restaurant so we are tough customers. Definitely recommend this place!“

“Heard good things so my wife and I dropped by for brunch on a Saturday. Not a lot of people know Por offers brunch, but it’s their loss. The menu is a combination of breakfast classics, elevated, with a few Mediterranean options that really stood out to me. I had the lamb kofta pizzette with two eggs. It was sensational. My wife and I gauge a restaurant by the menu planning, flavors, and if we’d drive 20mins to come back for a dish. This is easily one I’d travel for. I’ll be back for that dish and to try the orange blossom French toast.“

Even got a blueberry pancake at no extra charge! The parking lot is always full and it’s hard to find the first time! It’s back in the South west corner of the strip area. “I went to check this place out and got their Fire-starter Burger with Sweet Potato Fries. The burger was cooked perfectly! Just the small amount of pink I was looking for. 😋 It had just the right amount of jalapeños and guacamole. Did I mention the burger is fairly decent sized for the price?!?! I have never had Sweet Potato fries this good either, most of the places I have gotten them from they are burnt and hard. The restaurant is casual dining and VERY CLEAN! The staff are friendly and amazing as well as VERY VERSED in Service Dog laws. I felt very safe and welcomed here with the calm atmosphere. I would DEFINITELY go back!!!“

My husband has never even been. We ordered the housemade chips and the ranch was DELICIOUS, our server even made sure to get us another basket when my kids inhaled the first one. “I went to Black Eyed Pea to help celebrate a friend's 60th birthday. There were about 20 people in our party. The service was exceptional. The waitress did not miss a beat. The food couldn't have tasted any better and the amount of food for the money was excellent. I think everybody in the party ordered something a little different from everyone else. The selection of food was amazing.
I ordered the veggie plate. I had black eyed peas, red beans and rice, squash casserole, macaroni and cheese, and fried okra. There was enough for me to bring home for the next day
It wasn't overly crowded on the day that we went. It was just a nice relaxing atmosphere and they catered to our party well.
Everyone raved about the service that we received as well as the amount of food and the taste.
Overall, I was 100% satisfied with the experience.
My meal with an iced tea cost approximately $20. But again there was enough food for two meals. Most people went home with a to go box because they could not finish everything on their plate.
We also got plates of homemade rolls served family style.
One party member ordered the chicken fried steak and it was as big as the plate.
Another party member ordered the potato bowl and it was huge. He said it was really good too.“

We had a large group and food and drinks stayed replenished as needed and they were GOOD. We had a big group as satisfying the masses is no small task but they did it. It is however only open when school's in session. There's a small parking fee or you can park a 10-minute walk away. Limited hours, best for breakfast.“
