“Love this place, but I will not be returning. As a customer, I don’t believe it’s right for guests to shoulder the cost of the business renting their building through a Public Improvement Fee (PIF). For context, in 2024 the average Chick-fil-A unit brought in around $7.5 million annually, with freestanding locations like those in Colorado Springs often exceeding $9 million. With revenue at that level, covering rent should not fall back on the customers. If a business cannot manage its own operating costs, that responsibility should remain with ownership, not passed on to guests.“

The sandwiches are consistently made well, and there's a nice variety that they added. Lastly, I believe these guys made every effort to keep their prices reasonable. You get more for money here. I had a wonderful experience at the Chick-fil-A on North Academy. I arrived around 9:15 PM, after the dining room had closed at 9, and since I didn’t have a car I couldn’t go through the drive-thru. Vivi actually came outside—in the cold, without her jacket—to take my order.
She was incredibly patient while I added a new card and struggled with the tap-to-pay at first. Her kindness and professionalism were outstanding.
Having worked in customer service myself, I’ve often found restaurant staff in this city to be a bit short compared to what I was used to in Atlanta, but Vivi proved that great service still exists. She truly made my night.

“Haven't eaten at an Arby's in well over a year. My Ruben sandwich was perfect! No gristle, hot, not soggy, just the right amount of sauce and sauerkraut. The jalapeno bites were hot from the frier, no grease, no old taste, just perfect. There were no clean tables when we arrived (only one order in the dining area ahead of ours), and the sauces/napkins/ drink area needed cleaning. My husband said all the workers were busy filling orders whenever he looked over. The restroom was clean. Great location and newer store.“

“Just stopped in at this Dairy Queen newly rebuilt, on Fillmore by Beacon, great configuration for cars going through the drive-thru, plenty of room now for the customers in the dining room and the workers in the back. We came back for a medium vanilla shake and a banana split. And we got an order of pretzel sticks and cheese curds which are both excellent with the queso dip. The prices were a little high for only three pretzel sticks yet they were warm, soft and very tasty, the cheese curds were excellent always, little🤏 bit saltier. just wanted to let people know in case they have a salt problem yet they are delicious. The lady who did the drive-thru was excellent, answered some questions because on the banana split you're not able to pick butterscotch or caramel or marshmallow on the toppings if you go to the website and or the app. Yet she said just call up the store and tell them you're making the order online and they'll deviate and get you to marshmallow or the caramel if you want it that's not her fault, that's the company's fault“

This location is clean with a well kept restrooms, The soda fountain area is clean and well. The entrance is welcoming and the dining room is real large. “If you want Spicy Three Pepper Sauce, you have to go inside. They no longer have packets because they were discontinued, and they are not obligated to come out to the lobby to dispense the sauce into a container for drive-thru orders.

“My first Carls burger. I was surprised it was so good. I was on my way from Colorado to Houston and passed the In & Out burger by accident and didn't want to turn around so I chose Carl's Jr. It was as good as Burger King and reasonably priced.

“Been going to this location since I was a kid. This franchise holds high service standards and food standards for sure. Absolutely love their burgers here and of course their famous cheese curds. The curds may be pricy for fast fast food, but the texture and flavor sure beats fast food quality, even for their burgers.
On one occasion they ran out of custard and I was a bit saddened and they noticed and gave me a coupon for a free custard later on! They keep me coming back regardless of the circumstances it seems.
They also gave us the 2026 coupon calendar, definitely going to be there alot this coming year.
