“Love this place so much! I’m not usually a fan of chain restaurants but my favorite thing about this place is the fact that they source locally as much as they can. We have been here a few times now and every single time it has been great. The food and service are consistently good. Every server we have had was amazing. I used to work in restaurant industry for years so I notice the little things. I love to see multiple managers on the floor talking to customers, refilling drinks, running food. One server I have to point out is Jennifer, she’s never actually been our server but always remembers us, specifically my daughter who was having a meltdown one day and she offered to bring her a bowl of fruit. And we weren’t even in her section. Great service, thank you!“

“Great spot to waste some time on a weekend. Rico's has some great seasonal coffee options, my favorite being the white chocolate huckleberry latte. The checkout process is much more linear than it was in the past and their rewards program is worth signing up for. Their food options are solid for a quick bite. The quiche is packed with eggy/veggie goodness and a thin crust. The lemon berry mascarpone cake is glorious when allowed to sit at room temp for a few minutes. Soft and fluffy, there is a slight twang in the cake that balances the sweetness in the mascarpone filling.“

“I was staying at the Hyatt around the corner and was recommended by a friend to go here. I got the harvest bowl and added chicken. This came with a white apple cider vinaigrette which I was surprised by the color but tasted amazing. They provided a lot and I personally only used half then mixed everything together and 🤌🏼. Service was super quick and checked in on me a few times throughout to make sure I didn’t need anything else and that everything was okay. I would absolutely recommend this place to anyone in the area and would love to go back again to try the sandwiches which looked great and the entire place smelled amazing with everyone’s food.

“This was our favorite quick bite spot at the Broadmoor. Staff were friendly, service was quick and food was good. We always found a place to sit no matter how busy they looked. We ordered their house coffee, cafe latte, sticky buns, turkey sandwich, fruit cup, strawberry smoothies, croissant filled with cheese and turkey. Highly recommend the croissant with turkey and cheese as it was flavorful. The croissant was perfectly flaky and buttery. Average cost was $50+“

“It’s too good to be true. This stuff is amazing and I think witchcraft may be involved. It’s better than other gluten containing breads that hurt me. I struggle to keep away from gluten and just stumbled upon this bakery from their friends at Porkbutt BBQ in Colorado Springs that sale their goods as well. We came out arms full with Outside the Breadbox stuff.“

“Build your plate. I had brisket, hot links, okra and fries. This is the best restaurant okra I’ve ever had. Being from Mississippi, I know fried okra. The fries and okra are prepared as they are ordered and are served fresh and hot. The fries are nice and firm, not mealy at all. The brisket was good and the hot links too. Portions are generous. The staff is great and the place is clean. I will definitely be back. You can’t miss with this place.“

“Last week, our firm, Your Tax Lady & CO ordered pupusas for our entire office, and they were absolutely fabulous! The flavors were authentic, fresh, and perfectly balanced. Each pupusa was cooked to perfection — warm, cheesy, and packed with delicious fillings.

The curtido and salsa were the perfect complement, adding just the right amount of crunch and spice. It’s not often that every single person in the office agrees on lunch, but this was a unanimous 10/10 from our team!

If you’re looking for something unique, flavorful, and guaranteed to impress a group, we highly recommend them for your next office lunch or catering order. We will definitely be ordering again!

“WOW!!! Another One Of Our "GO-TO" Restaurants This restaurant has become one of our "GO-TO" restaurants when we come to or go through Colorado Springs. It is very conveniently located in the newer area on the north end of Colorado Springs. The food is fabulous and the menu feature of 1/2 sandwich and soup is just right for a light meal. The Monte Cristo sandwich is done perfectly!!! The chicken tender salad is always a favorite of my wife. Marie was on duty that evening - Leadship On Duty!!! Marie came by our table several times and when I see the leadership working the crowd it speaks volumes for the entire operation. Kirsti took care of our table and she frequently came by to make sure the food and service met our satisfaction. WOW!!! A super nice evening with great food, great service, and attention to detail. Marie and Kirsti - you are the best!!!“

“⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ **5/5 Stars — Dad’s Donuts** I’ll be honest — I was a little hesitant to try Dad’s Donuts at first. I had heard some people say they were really different from traditional donuts and that they were more like a dried-out croissant. Because of that, I kept putting it off for a while. But one of my classmates’ dad actually owns the place, and I’ve been wanting to support them for a long time, so I finally decided to stop in and give it a shot today. I’m really glad I did. I tried the **raspberry donut**, and it was absolutely delicious. The raspberry frosting tasted just like real raspberry filling — rich, flavorful, and not overly sweet. And contrary to what I had heard before, it was **not dried out at all**. It was **moist, flaky, and had beautiful buttery layers** that made it really unique compared to a typical donut. What I actually appreciated most is that their donuts feel a little more **crafted and elevated** than the average donut. The texture is light and layered, and you can tell care goes into making them. It’s a really nice balance between a donut and a pastry. The shop itself had a welcoming feel, and the product clearly speaks for itself. I also want to say **huge congratulations to the team for continuing to stay open and keep going**, especially after having to close their other two locations. Running a small business is never easy, and it takes a lot of dedication and resilience to keep pushing forward. If you’ve been hesitant like I was, I definitely recommend giving them a try. Sometimes something a little different turns out to be **really good**. I’ll definitely be back to try more flavors! 🍩“
