“I went for lunch and dessert today for the first time. It was busy, and hard to figure out where the line was going. My sausage calzone was very good, although my leftovers were better once I popped them in my toaster oven and got it hotter and the bread crisp than it was when it was served. The desserts were fantastic! I tried the mini pistachio cannoli, pistachio cookies, almond and pine nut amaretti cookies too--all fabulous! The desserts are widely varied...I wanted everything!! But it is expensive: my 6 cookies and 2 mini cannolis were just under $20. Ouch. But I know these kinds of things are a lot of work to bake, so I guess that's why. I hope to get there again sometime, though it's far from my area.“

“I specifically went searching for this restaurant because I used to work at dtc in the same build this restaurant used to be in and I remember they had the most amazing pastrami sandwich I’ve ever had. It turned out that they close the restaurant that was in dtc but they kept the restaurant that was on the complete opposite side of town from dtc. I went to try to order my pastrami sandwich again and to my surprise they stopped making it. I wish they bring it back, because I would drive an hour there and back for that sandwich. I've tried several different pizzas here, all were good and very reasonably priced. Think little Caesars, just better.I placed an order online recently and they mistakenly gave away part of my order before I came in to pick it up. The gentleman at the counter was very apologetic, he threw another item in the oven ASAP and comped me part of my order. Really wasn't expecting that, I doubt you'd ever get that good of customer service at LC.You can get comparable pizza to Jets at this place (try the square pan pizza, aka Detroit style) for a fraction of the cost. Not too long ago I recall spending over $50 for a single pizza from jets. Ordered the same thing here and it tasted just as good, and cost me about $20.If you're in the neighborhood and you like pizza, give this place a try. IMO, this place beats out any other pizza chain around hands down.“
