“On vacation and thought this would be a good choice for a late lunch. Turns out it was a great choice. Met with the owner who explained all of the extensive choices and toppings. We chose ahi tuna, spicy tuna and octopus on top of brown rice and a variety of toppings, including Island fin fire sauce with pineapple and habanero, Kimchi, seaweed and wasabi peas with wasabi finishing sauce. Everything is fresh daily according to the owner (the avocado was cut open in front of us). Simply delicious!“

Even got a blueberry pancake at no extra charge! The parking lot is always full and it’s hard to find the first time! It’s back in the South west corner of the strip area. Well worth discovering this gem!“

“We recently held our son's and our new daughter-in-law's rehearsal dinner at Parma Trattoria & Mozzarella Bar and every detail was perfect! Emilio and Mike provided helpful guidance every step along the way and ensured that our event went smoothly. We had a large party (44 people) and they recommended that we hold our event in the heated patio area for more privacy which was a great call. Our amazing servers Julie and Ilona are top notch and didn’t miss a beat. From helping us set up/decorate the tables to taking our orders to promptly serving/clearing dishes after each course to ensuring that no one waited for beverages, their service was flawless! And the food! Everyone raved about how delicious each dish was. I forgot to take photos of all my dishes but included a few to show how beautiful/tasty they look/are! May Wah has consistently delivered great food, lots of choice, in the neighborhood for as long as I can remember. Don't get me wrong: the atmosphere is most agreeable...(they have a round table with lazy Susan for instance) but the star of this show are the menu choices. I recommend you give them a try!“

“I went to Boxcar looking for a good cup of coffee. I’ve searched maps, Yelp, Google, and TikTok for places where the beans aren’t burnt or over-roasted. I wanted a welcoming spot with friendly baristas who take the time to help.

It’s not Pergamino in Colombia, where customer service is next level because livelihoods depend on it and employees are given time to train and connect—but this is the closest I’ve found. Friendly, welcoming, knowledgeable staff who explain their beans and give great recommendations.

I was able to drink my coffee black—something most places don’t allow because their beans are over-processed and burnt—and it was delicious. Definitely coming back.

It’s a cool, hip place to hang out. They have events in the evening as far as music and poetry.

We have never in 30 plus years had a bad meal here. I've read some of the bad reviews and honestly I can't believe what some people will complain about. The world would be a better place if we were all kind. The owner has put her life into this restaurant. Its clean, cozy, always fresh food and frankly it just feels like home. COVID really turned restaurants up side down and only the strong survived. We are grateful that this family owned business made it thru the toughest of times.“
