“My husband met the owner on the gondola one day and told us all about First Chair. We made it out for dinner and drinks with the kids a few days later. Chris served us and it was great meeting him as a fellow East coaster! We ordered almost all of the burritos on the menu and were not disappointed! The smash burger was easily my favorite. My dad would order the meatball burrito for every meal, I swear, with how much he enjoyed it as well as my 1 year old eating half of one herself. My son did work on the nachos they were so tasty! When we get back to Vail, we'll be sure to stop in! great staff and food!“

“The Thai food we had was amazing definitely a must visit. They have a wide variety of vegetarian options, and everything was very flavorful. This is the best Thai food I’ve had so far. Chef Daniel did an excellent job bringing out incredible flavors in every dish. Our server, Young, was very kind and took great care of us, especially with our vegetarian requests.“

“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.“

The only thing that slightly disappointed me was the side salad as I was hoping for a more traditional Austrian or a German salad with pickled veggies and vinegarette. “I rate it low, because the waitress took my drink (a Negroni) away from the table before it was finished without asking me if he can take it away. Once he came back and I claim to him he told me that he did it because it was not full, which he was right, but “wrong answer”..!! He shoul have 1st. apologize, 2nd. offer another one, or 3rd. if I did not wanted another one cause we ordered wine, he should have not charged in the bill. Obviuosly he was bad “trained” on how to deal with a mistake he made like that. Apart from that, everything else very good!“

“We had a great experience at Garfinkel’s, thanks largely to our server, Megan. She was friendly, attentive, and perfectly timed without being overbearing. We sat on the patio such a great choice and the food was outstanding! We enjoyed the chili, hot chocolate, nachos, and an IPA, all of which were excellent. Megan not only gave spot-on menu recommendations but also shared great suggestions for things to do around Vail, which really enhanced our visit. Wonderful service and a perfect place to relax. A must-stop when you’re in Vail!“

“Atmosphere is like a chalet feel of wood n stone. Food was fine. Sloppy Joe was good. Chicken noodle soup was good. Pricey for the sandwich type food but we are in Vail Colorado. Daughter liked the salad. It was fine , the server was friendly. It was great to try. We were passing through to Utah.“

Even with our big event, they were quick, patient, kind, and super attentive. Their customer service really stood out, and I’ll definitely be coming back. The atmosphere was perfect, chill vibes, nice decorations.
The food was delicious, Tuna tartar for appetizer and Seabass for entree! Food was incredible! The service was great they didn't miss a beat, Sebastian the server was on point with his recommendations and his service! He was super friendly and personality was on point!
