“We've lived in Vail part >> full-time for 3 years now and found this gem last week. And, WOW, I'm so glad we did. As a family of four, sometimes we need takeout which is a struggle in Vail and this place nailed it. The food was delicious. The price was appropriate. And, the convenience was awesome. Honestly, I was impressed across the board and am so glad we found it. No question this will be our go-to Thai / Chinese restaurant from now on.“

“Great Detroit Style Pizza! Picnic tables nearby to eat at and there is also a little splash pad nearby if there in the summer.“

“Food was great overall, and the ambiance was wonderful. The service was prompt and food arrived very quickly. The only thing that slightly disappointed me was the side salad as I was hoping for a more traditional Austrian or a German salad with pickled veggies and vinegarette. All the other food was delicious. We will definitely go back.“

“2nd time eating here. Service was ok but not attentive. The lamb gyro was not what was expected. We think of gyros as thin slices of meat while what we got was shaped like a sausage. And it was hotter (spicer) than expected. The biscuit with the ham and hot pepper jelly was just ok, but smaller than the $6 cost would justify. The clam chowder was the only part of the meal that was above average.“

“On the receipt it said our server was Raul. He was awesome and made an iced espresso that my girlfriend thought was much better than Starbucks. The coffee creation was on the house… even the second one. The breakfast was very good and priced fairly. Because of it all, left a little over 50% tip and happy. Well done.“

“Sloppy joe and beer. It really made my day eating a mean joe after a long flight. Quick easy bite, perfect for kids, families, or just a group looking to grab a drink. A charming bar full of decor and memorabilia really made it a place to remember!
Plus they had a whole courtyard to themselves in the front with several tables for enjoy the outside too.“

“Cool place. Seated quick. Took a while for a waiter to grace our table. We both got burgers. They were ok. Performed patty. Probably a frozen one. Fries were weirdly crunchy. I don’t like limp fries but overly crunchy is just weird. I always prefer hand cut fries.“

“Great Vail atmosphere style Cafe. I found the coffee itself to be very good - actually served hot which I like. They also have freshly squeezed orange juice which was nice. Overall great Vail spot for coffee and just feeling the Vail spirit.“

“We eat here regularly when in town and the food is always excellent. On this visit, our server, Lucia did a great job and was personable and attentive. Chef Victor also stopped by and even made a special dish for us that isn't usually on the menu at this time of year. Thanks to the entire Elway's team for always going above and beyond!“

“The Fitz has always been a great go-to restaurant, especially when we are hitting the amphitheater for a concert. They have a nice outdoor patio overlooking the river in addition to plenty of seating inside. The food has always been great and we'll definitely be back!“

“Excellent mexican food. Their queso is made in-house and is so creamy and tasty.
Parking: The restaurant is in one of the hotels and parking is not available unless you are staying at the hotel. However, there is parking and a garage, but it is a bit of a walk.“

“Cute coffee shop with a real good spread of pastries and donuts. Got a lot of indoor and outdoor space but is also quite popular with tourists. Service is quick and would certainly recommend the donuts and croissants. Coffee could be stronger.“

“Jacob is the one of the best bartenders I’ve ever came across. You’re in good hands if he’s taking care of you during your visit to the restaurant!!
P.s. one of the best bars in town to go to.. it’s reasonably priced and adds that extra texture of comfort being one of the locals favorite… for a good reason“

“My husband met the owner on the gondola one day and told us all about First Chair. We made it out for dinner and drinks with the kids a few days later. Chris served us and it was great meeting him as a fellow East coaster! We ordered almost all of the burritos on the menu and were not disappointed! The smash burger was easily my favorite. My dad would order the meatball burrito for every meal, I swear, with how much he enjoyed it as well as my 1 year old eating half of one herself. My son did work on the nachos they were so tasty! When we get back to Vail, we'll be sure to stop in! great staff and food!“
