“Funny story, we were supposed to be in Glenwood Springs tonight, but a 3+ hour I-70 shutdown torched those plans. A bummer as far as our soaking time goes but it was a huge win in that it allowed us to find the best pizza and friendliest service in all the high country!! What a wonderful gem this place is. Our food was absolutely delicious, made with the freshest ingredients and care. Our server was so lovely, attentive, and warm; and the spot is so cozy, cute, and immaculately clean. And the prices are beyond reasonable. It's, hands down, the best kept secret in Avon (but it shouldn't be!!)! We'll be back again soon, thanks so much for such a nice experience and excellent meal!“
“Huge selection of adult beverages! German food menu was good, cucumber salad leaves a bit to be desired, but the sausages are great. Big variety too. Open mic night is a lot of fun, host Sam Bee is awesome and there are some very talented locals who show up to play“
“This place is awesome!!!! Went with a group of ten and this was our favorite part of the trip. Grant and his crew did everything to make us feel at home. The staff was among the best we had in Beaver Creek. Not spending some time here would be a huge mistake should you visit Batchelor Gulch!!!!“
“We just walked over from our hotel for coffee. We ordered right away and then the place filled up. Standing room only. It definitely told us when skiers are waking up. lol The folks weren’t especially friendly, the place was cute, lots of seating in and out and the coffee was ok. It seemed clean but we did not use the restrooms.“
“Our family of 4 ate at Sauce on the Creek a few nights ago and loved it! Our waiter Scott was wonderful and super attentive. The food was delicious! We started with the shrimp scampi, scallops Florentine, and fried ravioli, then ordered some house bread to dip in the sauces - yum! Kids had fettuccine alfredo and another order of fried ravioli, my husband had the spicy shrimp spaghetti, and I had the eggplant parm, which was some of the best I've ever had! Hoping to visit again before we leave town!“
“I recently had the pleasure of dining at Pho Bay Avon in Avon,Co and I can confidently say it exceeded all my expectations. From the moment I walked in, I was greeted with warmth and hospitality by the owner himself and his team! I’m from out of state so I was looking for somewhere to eat!!All I have to say is that, the service was impeccable, with attentive staff who went above and beyond to ensure my experience was nothing short of exceptional.I highly recommend it to anyone looking to dine or lunch when you’re in town. You won’t be sorry!“
“We love this place. Every time we’re in the area we head to Loaded Joe’s. Coffee, breakfast, lunch, drinks and entertainment, great outdoor area, great indoor area. Our only issue is the one, ONE toilet. It’s like trying to go on an airplane except they take no exception with you queuing up. ?“
“So happy to have stumbled upon this place after our hike! Husband and I both had the rare flank pho and it was hands down, the best pho we have ever had. The broth was just incredible! We eat a lot of pho around the country. Don't wait on the Vietnamese egg rolls. It comes with noodles, veggies and lettuce. Make sure to put all of the goodies in the lettuce and dip it in their homemade fish sauce. It's absolutely delicious! Nice service and fun environment - there is even a bar.“
“This was my go-to place after a hard day's work. I would get their amazing pizzas, and cold beer. The wait staff, and bartenders, were really friendly and helpful, especially since I was new to the area. My time in that area was cut short but I would definitely try to stop in if I ever came back.Vegetarian options: It's attached to a deli which confused me.“
“Been to this nice restaurant many times and it’s always first class. Tonight my wife’s chicken was excellent. The wine was great. However, the Manhattan steak was not so good. The one that was brought out was extremely tough and even hard to cut into. Our lovely server offered to bring out a new one but I said I would fight through it. To her credit, she insisted on bringing out a new one and I asked for it to be Medallion cut. The replacement came out and should have been medium rare, but when I laid out the cuts it was simply very rare to raw with lots of fat as well. I simply refused to eat it and told her to just take it off the bill. To my surprise the wonderful Manager Dana immediately came over and admitted that they failed on the steak. He explained that they usually get great cuts from the provider, but recently not so much and he actually called the owner and told him they simply can’t be offering this kind of steak as this was not the first bad cut he has seen this evening. Dana did not charge me for the steak as well as the wine and offered a free desert. Dana did exactly what I’d expect a Manager to do in this caliber of a restaurant and that alone makes me want to come back again whichever we will do so!“
