However, I did not send it back because it was still a high-end cut and I didn't want to waste it. Here's the amazing part... our server saw that it was over cooked and let us know she already had a new one being prepared. She did this without us even saying anything. Turned what would have been a pretty good dinner into an Outstanding experience. If you want good old fashioned great service, Cap Grill is one of the few remaining long standing gems in Denver. You will not find a better pomodoro sauce anywhere unless your grandma is from Italy and has a long held family recipe. The pasta is hand made and has a perfect texture and amazing flavor with the sauce. The house made buratta is the freshest, creamiest and thickest you’ll enjoy outside of select NYC restaurants that are famous for making their own mozzarella, ricotta or buratta. And the staff treat their guests like they’ve invited you into their own home. Jessica was amazing! All together, going to Luca’s is like getting the perfect big warm hug.“

“Well deserving of its praise!! We brought our huge family here & ate pretty much everything on the menu. Great atmosphere, wonderful & attentive staff. We walked in at 4 on a Friday & sat right away.

If you come for happy hour, the tinned sardines are a MUST. They come with freshly made, warm bread, incredible butter & a tomato pairing. So crazy good - we ordered 3. Their pizza dough/bread is just that good. Fluffy, airy, crisp. Delightful.

Their new squash is also tasty! A perfectly soft and sweet squash paired with goat cheese.

Pizza - the daisy is wonderful & a must!! Well balanced in toppings & flavors. We also thoroughly enjoyed the white pizza! Creamy, yet somehow refreshing.

Pasta - Nicely made pasta, al dente! The sauces themselves lean on the saltier side, so it's definitely intended for sharing and having one or two bites per person at most.

The olive oil cake dessert is so good! Lovingly paired with lemon curd to cut the fattiness.

“The food is amazing! Our waitress was awesome as well. The only thing that left a sour taste in our mouth was the manager making it seem like we’re being rushed. I made a reservation a week earlier and when we showed up there was barley anyone there, the manager or owner or who ever she is said we had 1 hour and a half at max to finish our meal. This establishment is definitely not a turn and burn. If I’m spending over 25 dollars a plate I’m going to enjoy it with the feel or want to be rushed. That being said the food and our waitress definitely did not disappoint!“

There's an outdoor patio that is lovely on warm days tucked away just enough that the traffic doesn't bother, but still feels urban. Happy hour has incredible prices on food and inventive, local cocktails. Every one of the mussel recipes is great and I love their shoestring fries plain, or dressed up in the many options they offer. The eggplant puree is a great accompaniment to any visit. I can't say enough how thoughtfully this place was put together. I also have to mention that as someone who enjoys meeting up with friends, but also likes to go to places to read alone, Dew Drop is perfect for either of these. “I’ve worked in the service industry my entire life and I get goosebumps thinking about the food at Sap Sua. It’s the place I come to when I want to specifically remember a meal with my partner, friends or family because I can taste the love in the food and feel the love at the table.

The service is always joyous and convenient and I’m always excited to dry a different cocktail whenever I come. I have heard rumors that the management and chefs treat the staff well, but the sincere attitude of the entire establishment would be proof of that enough. Any neighborhood in the world would and should be proud to have a place like Sap Sua nearby (even though they are dodger and laker fans).“

“Went here for New Years Eve dinner. They offered a limited menu, but it was very, very good. Food was fabulous. My husband and I decided on the Branzino. The Branzino was cooked to perfection not fishy tasting and not too dry. This dish came with vegetables of cauliflower, and we opted for a side of Risotto that was wonderful. Our complements to the chef and the team for such an awesome dinner. This team really knows how to cook. The wine selection was also very good. I would recommend this restaurant. I surely would be back. Atmosphere was very elegant, cozy and relaxing.“

Made me comfortable, even though it was one of my first experiences returning to indoor dining.“

“This was my first time to Rare Bird sine they open the rooftop pizza kitchen and it was amazing! We went for one of their Bird Dog nights and enjoyed pizza and drinks on the roof. I got the mushroom pizza and it was Devine! I’m vegan and by leaving off the cheese I got a delicious vegan dinner full of flavorful veggies. I highly recommend!“
