“I ate at The Sand Bar last night. It's down in the basement of the main restaurant clubhouse (upstairs on the main level is their fine dining). The booths are like golf cart seats, and the ceiling is painted blue like the sky with wraparound accent lighting behind a little shelf that's recessed in the ceiling. The cheeseburger I got was a bit too dry, and the tots could've been sprinkled with seasoning. The Key Lime Pie was good but very sweet. The standout for me was the chicken taco! They put about as much chicken and cheese as would fit in it. I certainly feel like I got my money's worth. It tasted delicious. After the dry burger, the chicken was nicely seasoned and dripping with juice.
The sink in the men's room was broken, meaning they needed to reattach the faucet to the granite sink. Water still came out and I could wash my hands. They said someone else also let them know and that they'd put in a work order to get it fixed.
But the most unpleasant thing about the whole meal last night was the obnoxiously loud guy sitting at the bar dropping frequent f-bombs. Looking over at another family table of 4, they seemed to be a bit uncomfortable and glaring over at him. Look, I get it. People get loud, rowdy, and drunk at a bar. I'm not a member here, but I have worked at a few country clubs. Stuff like that might happen out on the golf course, but never in the restaurant in front of children and more elderly members. At the very least, I don't think it unreasonable for one of the bartenders or managers to have asked the guy to speak a little quieter so that the whole restaurant didn't have to hear his many conversation topics and vulgar language.“
“Very great owners, staff, food is pretty good. I go every month or so, and am going again definitely! (Cost differs on what food $10-$30)
Vegetarian options: Great salads and vegan or vegetarian options!
Kid-friendliness: They make a special menu just for the kids with great food!
Parking: Parking can get full but still can get spots!
Wheelchair accessibility: I am quite positive there is a wheelchair ramp and not many stairs!
Dietary restrictions: They are able to substitute certain items for others!“
“Leah and the event team were incredible to work with. They were extremely organized, prepared and professional. We definitely hope to do more events with them in the future, and would recommend this beautiful venue to anyone!“

“I stopped by the LaSalle Stand a few days ago and wanted to try something new, Lex the manager in LaSalle made me the most amazing drink, Iced snowy with pomegranate and it tasted better then I expected. Dez and Randi were literally scrubbing the drain and tiles on the floor!! Everytime we go we always get the best service at the LaSalle location. We will actually go out of our way to stop at the LaSalle 1!! This trip was extra amazing just seeing how much pride those girls take in having a clean store!!“

“My husband and I were looking for a nice dinner in the area for date night. We were initially going to go to a steak house we've been to multiple times, but decided to try something new and closer to home. We are so glad we did. The meal was some of the best we've ever had and we've eaten at multiple James Beard award winners. We both started with Old Fashioneds. They were pretty standard cocktails. We took the server's recommendation for appetizer and got the Sweet Potato Croquettes. They were absolutely delicious. The perfect balance of sweet and savory. My husband then ordered the filet with mashed potatoes and house made Flatbread and I ordered the Pumpkin Sage Risotto with chicken. Again, perfectly cooked food with amazing flavors. We decided on a second round of cocktails. My husband got a second Old Fashioned and I wanted to try a cocktail off their specialty menu, so I ordered the Unprofessional Behavior (gin, fig jam, pistachio syrup, lemon, and habenero bitters). The cocktail was surprisingly delicious. We were too full for dessert, but I'm sure we would have been pleased. Upon talking to our server about the chef, we were surprised to learn he is a 21 year old self-trained chef. The manager came over to check on our meal and we gave our rave review to her. The chef came to our table to talk with us and receive our feedback on the meal. This restaurant and chef are going places. Everyone needs to watch for them because they are on track to become a destination for family friendly, fine dining. We will be back and will take anyone that visits us there. I can't wait to try more from the menu and to continue to be blown away by the balance, flavors, and superior cook.“

“I appreciate that they could accommodate my dietary restriction by not cooking with seed oil by request. I hope they and more restaurants will consider doing that as standard practice. The ribeye was delicious and cooked perfectly. The pizzas that others in our group got looked great.“
“I’m a league bowler and working toward eventually touring on the tournament circuit. So I’m a regular for practice at the Main Event Windsor. The Happy Hour pricing makes practice sessions very affordable and Jackson is always friendly and helpful with getting me a good lane. Always a pleasure to bowl at ME Windsor!“
