“We are visiting the area and tried Mangetsu and I am so glad we did. It tastes authentic, the atmosphere was comfortable, and the service was great. I had the chicken fried rice and it was delicious, but we also ordered the chicken katsu and it was incredible. Definitely recommend!“

“Delicious, fresh, and well portioned! Ordered their sashimi deluxe and a few of their spicy rolls. The sashimi is fresh and tastes great. The slices are good and not overly thin like some other restaurants. The spicy rolls had a good portion of fish mixed in, vs some other restaurants that overdo the sauce mix and put a tiny bit of fish in. The only part I didn't enjoy as much was an ala carte order of scallop sashimi.. maybe it just isn't in season because it tasted bland. But everything was good enough I would definitely order again.
In town for a business trip and craved some sushi. Wasn't liking lots of the places on Uber Eats and so stumbled upon this one. Was a little bummed my hotel was 0.5 miles outside their delivery radius, then discovered they're on GrubHub as well, which allowed my delivery! And I'm glad I stuck it out! This place beats even some of my favorites back home!“

“Best all you can eat sushi restaurant in the Hartford area. Even the small plates were incredible - we ordered General Tsao’s chicken, miso soup, and lots of sushi. Really excellent service and atmosphere. Everything was delicious, will be coming here often!“

“Gage had excellent customer service skills. He was very knowledgeable about the menu and attentive to detail. Everyone here is always friendly and helpful. And most importantly, the food is freaking delicious! I always order the salmon bowl and its enough for 2 people!“

“This is my go to spot with my boyfriend. There’s never any question with quality of food, the food is amazing each time you go. They have perfected their menu and the cooks are truly masters with their craft. Best food in the area, and if you’re not in the area it’s worth the travel. “The servers are usually very great just forgetful at times.
Food is always amazing. One of their best rolls is smoked salmon avocado roll! Highly recommend.
Atmosphere is usually top tier. Very comfy vibe. Not too loud. Great place to catch up with friends you haven’t seen in a while.
They also have tons of special rolls that are amazing. Highly recommend if you’re ever curious or want to try something new

“‼️Really delicious food, I'd call it excellent! If you enjoy sushi, this is the place to go. Sometimes on the weekends the parking lot is packed full, so if you enjoy their food, it may be better to simply call ahead. However, there are a few inaccuracies on their this Facebook website. First their current hours are posted as "always open", of couse this cannot be true in the least bit. Listed on the Mizu 21 Restaurant website as of August 16, 2025 it says: Address: 21 Albany Turnpike (Rt.44) Canton, CT 06019 Tel: 860-352-8533 Business Hours Mon: 11:30 am~9:30 pm Tue: 11:30 am~9:30 pm Wed: 11:30 am~9:30 pm Thurs: 11:30 am~9:30 pm Fri: 1:30 am~10:30 pm Sat: 11:30 am~10:30 pm Sun: 11:30 am~9:30 pm“

“We felt the food and atmosphere were great, definitely a bit more of a fancy place than we normally go to. A bit pricey but the food was very good. My only issue and the biggest reason we most likely will not be going back is they do not have or offer a kids menu and were not very accommodating to kids. I understand it’s fancier place to eat but I was very unprepared when I had my son with me not knowing they did not have a kids menu. He ended up eating French fries for dinner and I had to go home to make him something else.“
