“I seriously loved this place. The atmosphere and the customer service were amazing, but the food is what really won me over. I just finished eating and felt like I had to write a review. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and so comforting.

Even though the menu is international, there are a lot of Ecuadorian dishes and snacks that really stood out to me. It made me so happy to see my country’s food represented in such a beautiful way. I haven’t experienced that in a long time.

I moved back to my home state of Michigan in 2010 but still have my whole family in West Haven, so I still come to town every 3-4 years to visit, and when I do? You best believe i am making a pit stop in here for a pastrami sub. 😋 This is 100% the best deli i have ever been to. The man and woman running it are the sweetest people, they always remember us when I mention we are from Michigan, and the food? Absolutely phenomenal. The steak subs? Delicious. The Italian combo? Large and full of flavor and toppings. However, the pastrami will always have my heart. No where even back in Michigan compares. 100/10. Go support this business. You and your taste buds won't regret it.“

This is my go to spot when I work in the area. I always get the same thing, once I walk in they already know my order (pastrami sub, with grilled onions, lettuce, extra Swiss cheese, mayo and mustard)

They do take forever to make your pizza on busy days, regardless it is well worth waiting for. I'm assuming the pizza would be less expensive if they didn't charge so much for toppings. “Although they messed up my order and did not deliver the salad and desserts, I have to say what they did deliver was absolutely delicious. I called Ariel and he said the next time I come he would give me what Door Dash didn’t deliver. The rice and beans were really something special. The chicken was perfect and the plantains could not be prepared better. I was impressed and will be going back. Mistakes happen, I get it. But great food doesn’t happen. And this place delivers the later. I should be mad, honestly, but what came was so good all I have is a smile and an extremely satisfied tummy. Great food!

This is a follow up to my earlier review. Lo Ina Latina Deli is Waterbury’s hidden gem. Their chicken. Is the best I have ever had. There fried pork was off the charts. Perfectly prepared. Just excellent.

“It's a little neighborhood shop near St. Raphael's hospital. I walked there and had a bologna egg and cheese sandwich. bologna wild not normally be my first thought on a breakfast sandwich but it was in the menu so I tried it. I little salty, and not very healthy, but it was grilled and got and delicious.“

“My first time here today. Chipotle was closed down by the Health Department. Rats I guess according to another customer at the Marketa. The deli was packed with students after high school but the gentleman up front asked me if I wanted deli and he expedited my order. I would recommend doing business here.“
