“Out of this world pastries! My family and I all have said that these are literally THE BEST specialty desserts, cookies, and pastries!
The taste is Amazing in each pastry. The Italian cream filled desserts blew me away!
The texture and sweetness of these are so balanced and mouth watering!
Everything I tried was absolutely delicious, and as fresh as can be.
Clean and nice atmosphere.
I forgot the lady's name, but each time, she is so helpful and was helpful with questions I had.

I went there three times within a few days. We had people visiting around Holidays, and they were hit!

Easy street parking on both sides of the road. Right in branford center area.

I highly recommend. Also fantastic for bringing a box to a get together, or for others when visiting.

Parking: Parking is free on both sides of the street. Each time I went, there were plenty of spots available. Although you may have to park a little down the street if it's super busy.
I had no issues at the times I went.

Kid-friendliness: Kid friendly to take kids. All desserts are behind counter, so they won't get to things. Plenty of space inside.“

“It didn't take long for us to realize that JCakes had to be the bakery to make our cake. They had the most flavorful and moist cakes and their fillings and frosting were to die for! They also have talented decorators who were able to create my dream wedding cake.

We were able to choose different cake flavors and fillings for each tier, which was helpful since we loved every single flavor we tried at the tasting! The final product was as delicious as the samples we had tasted and as beautiful as we imagined! I am still getting compliments on our unique and delicious cake!

My wedding cake was included with my venue's package, so JCakes charged what was included to my vendor which was the majority of the cake, and I paid for any details that were extra (one of the cake flavors and fondant design).

We highly recommend JCakes for any occasion, but they are the ultimate bakery for wedding cakes!“

Worthy of the drive to East Haven I know what a pain Longing for the good old days when I could just roll up for some cupcakes it was so convenient. “My husband surprised me with a Princess cake. I mentioned I’d love to try one after seeing it in a baking show. He searched online and Marjolaine’s was the only place he could find. He drove over an hour to pick it up and it was well worth the drive! We just picked up a Dacquoise. This one was a request from our daughter. We tried a smaller version that was in the case. It was absolutely delicious! So light and airy and the flavor was divine! We are driving this cake all the way to NC and are 100% certain that our daughter will be thrilled ! We are heading back in the beginning of April for a Marjolaine for our daughter in law. It is well worth the trip!!!“

“The employees at the North Haven store are always friendly, helpful and fast. I've never had an issue or mix-up with my order and the cookies, as always, are scrumptious. I particularly like their rewards program . Points add up fast and you get frequent and substantial discounts without being constantly bombarded by texts and emails or having to buy a million cookies first.“

“This is by far some of the best desserts I have had! 5-star desserts. Everything about the items were thorough and well executed. The Vietnamese coffee is the best I have had. Had to order two! “These are the best Biscotti I ever had. I found them near the coffee section at Bishops Farm Maket. They are soft and not dried out. They are as good as my grandmother's..if not better. If I take a small bite I end up eating the entire Biscotti. A+“
