“Enjoyed a evening at the Bijou then came across the street. The place was packed but owner went out of his way to accommodate us and glad he did. The cavatelli n sausage was very good but my wife’s gnocchi’s were homemade and amazing- if you love fresh pasta make this place a go to place in Bridgeport- staff was extremely friendly“

“I've been here four times, and it has been an Excellent experience every time I go. The Atmosphere, food, drinks, and service were GREAT. I usually have stomach sensitives when I eat out but never at Strega. They have Real gluten, not chemically processed, and low bakers yeast in their bread and pasta. Highly recommend!“

“A hidden gem! Conveniently tucked away in an alley right around the corner from the Fairfield Theater Company, this is the perfect place to grab drinks before or after a show! They have a fastball draft list of craft beers and the espresso martini was to die for. Pair that with the modern-industrial decor with a hint of speakeasy + attentive bar staff and it’s a recipe for a good time. Will be back for certain!“

“I have been to Sophie’s a number of times. I have always found the food and service very good and the manager a pleasure to deal with. Their pizzas have an unusually tasty crust and the toppings are very good and some quite creative. Their other dishes are also very good.“

“I came around lunch time. Girl in the bright pink hair was the hostess at the time, she was hiding in the corner sipping her drink at the bar. Waited for about 5 minutes or so until someone from the kitchen said something. She wasn’t welcoming. Asked what the vegetables were she said she didn’t know which is fine, but didn’t offer to ask…had such an attitude! Didn’t expect her to be bubbly, but could’ve been at least neutral. The gentleman Gilberto I believe his name was, correct me if I’m wrong, took over and the service was much better. The desserts were amazing, I would recommend ordering desserts which I usually don’t, but here I would. We came with a good mood and ended in a good mood thanks to him. She definitely needs a bit of training. She was pleasant towards the end.“
