“We drove an hour to finally try Sweet Mia’s and it was absolutely worth it! Lemon Olive Oil cake with Ricotta and an espresso for me, Gelato for him. Just perfect. The cake was fluffy, moist, and not overwhelming sweet which is how it should be! The Gelato was smooth and delicious and the espresso was strong and hit wonderfully. We will return!“

After letting the woman working there know that we had never been there, she took the time to show us everything they had to offer and explain what they all were. We got chocolate cake and brigadieros. The cake was RICH, but it was so so good. And the brigadieros were DANGEROUSLY good. I will have to keep myself from going back and getting more immediately. There is very little parking, so you may have to walk a little bit to get there, but it is so worth it.

Parking: Street parking, its limited, but the place isn’t too busy so you should be able to find a spot!“

They have great recipes here; cake was fluffy, they used just the right amount of filling, and frosting was amazing. Sometimes buttercream can be either too heavy or too sweet. Theirs was neither. The birthday girl loved it! Also their breakfast pastries are very good with homemade fruit fillings.😋“

“Costco: how do I love thee? Let me count the ways (just for the bakery). At Thanksgiving they have great pumpkin pies for a truly miniscule price you get a humongous pit! They have bluberry muffins (and other kinds too but we get bluberry only) that are double the size of anyone else anywhere and they are loaded with blueberries and they are like half the price of anywhere else. They have great baguette bread. They now make what they call frenchcountry loaf which to us more closely resembles Italian style crusty bread which we love. For birthdays and special occasions they custom make cakes. They have all types of pastries and cheese cakes and you will love it!“

I don’t think people realize how challenging it is to get that mint-cookie flavor, and both the vegan and the traditional cupcakes here nailed it!All cupcakes had a fun surprise filling in the middle (I love when bakers do that), and the cookie dough icing had texture AND TASTE (how, I may never know) of a light cookie dough!I think the cannoli topped one was my favorite but I all were beyond my expectation.No, they don’t have a million options, that’s because they do a few things exceedingly well.
