“As a foreigner in America, this was one of the best sort of fast food/restaurant/cafes I've been in. Overall, I really like Dunkin Donuts. Their Summer Refreshers are insane! Their bacon, cheese and egg bagel is awesome and is a great breakfast or miał in general.“

“Good afternoon folks! With Starbucks in Avon closed for construction, I’ve been a the hunt for a new coffee place. Yesterday, I tried Coffee Trade for the first time. I was beyond impressed. The coffee was delicious and made with on site roasted beans. The prices are extremely reasonable, way cheaper than Doms or any competing shops. They had countless exciting flavors, I want to attempt to try them all. The atmosphere was so great and unique. And, the employees are truly fantastic and helpful. It’s hard nowadays to find a business with strong morals and sense of community. I felt immediately welcomed at Coffee Trade. I went back today and once again was impressed. If you haven’t tried this place yet and are a true coffee lover, it’s worth a visit. Their outdoor patio is also lovely and great to spend a relaxing morning. I’ll be sure to be back and make this part of my regular routine. My only regret is not trying it sooner 😂“

“I went into Giv for the first time this morning to pick up some whole bean coffee, have an Americano, and experience a proper cafe/roaster for the first time. The staff were incredibly friendly and really seemed to be enjoying the work that they were doing, which made the whole atmosphere super welcoming. I ordered an Americano which was incredible, and looking around definitely gave me confidence that the other drinks were equally good. They have a good selection of whole coffee beans and I really appreciated that they had some pour over gear from Hario (Switch and V60 kits, plus filters). Being able to pick those up locally and support a local business rather than Amazon is a huge plus. 10/10, I hope to become a regular there.“

My mother and I are fairly accomplished cooks and bakers so are very aware of quality……..we do not eat grocery store pastries….they may be convenient and less expensive but are very poor quality……Kamla makes everything by hand with top quality ingredients the morning that they are sold…..basically, you get what you pay for!!!!!! Top quality ingredients are expensive! You can order online the day before to make sure that you are able to get what you want, they often sell out early. If you want discount store prices, then go to the discount store……Bounom products are EXCEPTIONAL and very much worth the price!!!!! In addition the staff are extremely friendly and helpful!!!! My NUMBER ONE RECOMMENDATION for a bakery !!!! Do yourself a favor and treat yourself to their wonderful goodies!!! I would give them 10 stars if I were able!!!“

“Bruno’s Cafe I don't know where to start at all. They had good coffee, amazing service, the whole staff were great. I met them at a car event they made the whole time great. “There is no other restaurant in northern CT that makes me more excited to visit than Germains. Every single item on the menu is incredible, all of the weekly specials are sensational and the entire staff is friendly, helpful and take pride in the service they provide. Germains is the template of how the modern breakfast, brunch, family owned restaurant should be run. Prices are fair, the website is always updated and the team is not afraid to delve into unique and exciting creations for the foodies of the world. Let me put it like this… when Jesus held the last supper I would not have been surprised if he was serving Germains catering. If I was a convict on death row I would very very much consider a Germains special to be my last meal. If I were to describe a perfect day it would be a Germains breakfast sandwich, a round of golf, a Germains lunch wrap followed by an afternoon on the lake. This place is incredible! 11/10 recommend and thank you for all you do! My only ask is maybe consider opening on Sundays 😉“

“With the move just down the street, Beanz and Co & The NE pasta co transformed itself to another level. The place is spacious and the atmosphere is friendly and inviting. In addition to the main dining area, There are three separate seating areas: a room with comfy seats for a small group of talkers, a back room for a quieter setting and a third room perfect for a work meeting or small group of friends or couples.

I love the inclusion of staff with challenges, otherwise may not have this positive opportunity. 💜

“I was first exposed to Those Guys Coffee at Fire by Forge restaurant and café in Hartford, where I tried several of their coffees -- drip, pourover, and espresso. I fell in love. All roasts I have tried have been balanced, flavorful, and soulful. I've started by buying their beans at The Grocery on Broad, also in Hartford (next to Fire by Forge). I mostly use it for espresso at home, and it is great. Those Guys have become my go-to local coffee roaster.“

“Love this early morning crew! Kyle and Shannon know my drink when I pull up to order, and it's never screwed up. Any other time of day it's always made wrong. Too little ice, extra milk. Sugar cakes to the bottom. I may sound picky but it's not that hard and we all deserve to have our coffee made the way we like.

“I love this Dunkin Donuts. I havent had a bad order yet. But mostly the order taker in the morning (older woman I am so sorry I dont know your name). But her catch phrase is “enjoy your day”. Besides the great service she is the reason i stop here as opposed to the 5 other dunkins on the way and around my job! And check out the picture… its little touches like that. That turn this from a run of the mill fast food spot to a fine breakfast establishment.“
